Statistics from the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention show that AIDS in China shows a "two-headed" incidence trend, that is, the incidence of young people and the elderly is high.

Experts said that the cases of young students in China are mainly male, and in 2020, China reported 2977 cases of young students, of which the sex ratio (male: female) is 32:1, most of which are male. About 81.6% of these case reports are caused by same-sex sexual transmission, so same-sex sexual transmission among young students is still a concern.
