In order to prepare for the construction of the exhibition hall, the literature and history experts systematically sorted out and fully demonstrated on the basis of the existing research results, and identified 15 plates such as the world's rice source, the three religious resorts, the city of poetry, the hometown of calligraphy and painting, and the holy land of Zhejiang studies, focusing on displaying the fruitful results of the city's historical and cultural research.

Since the "source of the world's rice cultivation civilization" went up the mountain to start the life of the primitive village, the 10,000-year history has bred the endless and unique Jinhua culture. In the history of the establishment in 2200, Confucianism, Buddhism, and Taoism blended together, poetry, calligraphy, and painting were reflected in each other, and the subset of jingshi was complete in color, and the former sages and later philosophers were like a galaxy. The official revision of the "Twenty-Five Histories" has 136 celebrities; more than 900 Sui Dynasty Kaike and Qing Dynasties, more than 900 Jinshi; 6 ancestors from Zhejiang and 5 people from Jinhua. Jinhua is a sacred place of "Zhejiang studies". Wuxue is an important part of Song Yun culture and the source of "Zhejiang Studies". The ideas advocated by Wuxue on the application of the world, pragmatism, righteousness and profit, and inclusiveness have profoundly influenced the academic pattern of China after the Southern Song Dynasty, established the basic spirit of "Zhejiang Studies", and become an important cultural resource of the Zhejiang spirit in the new era.
Jinhua is the city of poetry. In the history of Chinese poetry, Jinhua has many highlight moments: Shen Yudeng Xuanchanglou, composing the poem "Eight Songs", which is unique and unique, and is sometimes called a masterpiece; Zhang Zhihe pioneered the fishing song body, which crossed the ocean and passed it on for thousands of years; the Yuequan Yin Society was the earliest and largest poetry society in history; the poetry giant Ai Qing, one of the "three major people's poets in the world" in the 20th century...

In 2008, the Jinhua Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government launched the revision of the Jinhua Series, which lasted more than seven years and included 877 kinds of books and literature.
The exhibition hall showed the research results of Jinhua's history and culture. In the special topic of "Jinhua Wencong", there are the complete collections and anthologies of Jinhua cultural celebrities. In 2019, the Jinhua History and Culture Series was officially published. In addition, Jinhua poems, celebrity biographies, chronicles of historical prefectures and counties, folk customs, intangible cultural heritage archaeology, etc., were all displayed in the exhibition hall.
