Rockefeller's business wisdom – to take first, to donate the huge proceeds behind the United Nations building

After the Second World War, the victorious powers headed by the United States, Britain and France decided to establish an international organization composed of sovereign states in New York, united States, the United Nations, with the aim of promoting cooperation among countries in international law, international security, economic development, social progress, human rights and the realization of world peace.

Just after the end of World War II, many countries faced huge fiscal deficits, and it was difficult to buy a piece of land to build the United Nations Tower in the then super-first-tier city of New York.

Upon learning of this, the Rockefellers decided to pay $8.7 million to buy a piece of land in New York and give it unconditionally to the newly formed United Nations. At the same time, the Rockefellers also assigned personnel to buy all the land near the vacant land. $8.7 million, at the time, was undoubtedly a huge sum of money, and the Rockefellers gave it away for free, without asking for anything.

Incredibly, however, as soon as the United Nations Tower was completed, the land prices around it soared, growing rapidly at a rate of several times, ten times or even a hundred times the initial investment amount. Huge fortunes poured into the Rockefellers like a tidal wave. Those who had prophesied and ridiculed the Rockefellers could only be stunned at this.
