On the afternoon of November 26, 2021, the tenth lecture of the Dali Culture and Tourism Public Welfare Lecture was held at dali Library, and "Xu Xiake Traveled through Dali Landscape and Water" by Wu Yan, librarian and deputy director of Dali Museum.

Yang Hengcan, a 79-year-old Dali scholar, Liu Ruisheng, vice president of the China Xuxiake Research Association, Li Gong, president of the Dali Nanzhao History Research Association, Luo Gang, president of the Dali Longweiguan Ancient City Protection Association, Qian Xiuzhen, president of the DaliZhou Tourist Guide Branch, Yang Shibin, former director of the Dali Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, Yang Shibin, former director of the Dali Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, and other experts and scholars, such as the Dali Nanzhao History Research Association, the Dali Prefecture Xu Xiake Research Association, the Dali Prefecture Non-Party Intellectuals Association, the Dali Prefecture Tour Guide Branch, the dali University students, graduate students, and the new Dali people. More than 70 people from all walks of life who love Dali's history and culture attended the lecture.

The lecture was presided over by Yang Qingchun, president of the Dali Xuxiake Research Association.

Teacher Wu Yan gave a wonderful lecture from four aspects: first, a brief introduction to Xu Xiake's characters; second, an introduction to Xu Xiake's Dali travels; third, Xu Xiake's historical merit review; and fourth, an exploration of Xu Xiake's life meaning to inspire us.

Teacher Wu Yan introduced in detail Xu Xiake's travels to Dali Xiangyun, Binchuan, Jizushan, Heqing, Jianchuan, Eryuan, Dali, Yangpi, Yongping, Weishan, Midu, Xiangyun, Binchuan, Jizushan and other places, showing exquisite pictures, telling a moving story, and excerpting inspirational quotes, so that everyone was deeply inspired and benefited a lot.

Wanli Expedition Road, three into Dali Prefecture, two on the Jizu Mountain. Xu Xiake actually traveled in Dali for eight months, accounting for more than one-third of the entire Yunnan tour time, and inspected 10 counties and cities in Dali Prefecture. Although the inspection time is so long and the inspection area is so extensive, for Xu Xiake, it is not full of fun, leaving behind the eternal feelings and regrets of "the unresolved prosperity of the Cangshan Erhai Sea".

After the lecture, everyone had a warm and full exchange around Xu Xiake's travels in Dali, especially expressing their curiosity and yearning for the niche attractions visited by Xu Xiake, such as Xiangyun Qinghua Cave, Fengyu Qingyuan Cave, cangshan Ancient Buddha Cave, etc., and looked forward to further on-site investigation and practicing Xu Xiake's spirit of "reading thousands of books and walking thousands of miles". Through the lecture, everyone is deeply immersed in the great spirit of Xu Xiake, and will rush to the mountains and seas with a breath of smoke and love!

Liu Ruisheng, vice president of the China Xu Xiake Research Association, once summed up "why Dali is Xu Xiake's favorite place": First, there are the most texts and the most detailed records. "Xu Xia's Travels" has 600,000 words, and 100,000 words are recorded in Dali, leaving wonderful words praising Dali. Second, it lasts the longest and travels the most extensively. Xu Xiake entered Dali prefecture three times, went to Jizu Mountain twice, and visited 10 counties and cities in Dali, which lasted for 8 months. However, Xu Xiake was still not full of happiness, leaving behind the ancient sighs and regrets of "the unfinished rise of the Cangshan Erhai Sea". The third is to make friends innocently, and the earth is desolate. Xu Xiake was treated with friendly courtesy by the Dali people in Dali and composed a legendary friendship story between the people of Jiangyin in the eastern region and the people of Dali in the western region. Xu Gong wrote a 100,000-word diary in Dali, accounting for one-sixth of the more than 600,000-word "Xu Xia's Travels", which is enough to show his love for Dali. Xu Gong is the most and best and earliest world celebrity who has publicized Dali, and has been promoting Dali for more than 380 years.

Yang Qingchun, president of the Dali Xuxiake Research Association, said when presiding over the lecture: Xu Xiake discovered Dali, praised Dali, publicized Dali, and found a spiritual home and physical and mental home in Dali. Today, the landscapes and rivers that Xu Xiake has walked through in Dali have become golden mountains and silver waters; the crooked mountain roads that Xu Xiake has walked in Dali have become a well-off road and a road to prosperity; Xu Xiake's tour line in Dali has become a well-known tourism hotline. In this lecture, we tasted the Taihua tea that Xu Xiake twice praised by Lincang Taihua Tea Industry.

On the eighth day of november in the 1638th lunar calendar, Xu Xiake drank Taihua tea for the first time when she visited The Bamboo Temple in Kunming. The "Travels of Xu Xia" records: "Three people, each with a gap in the window, sits on the sill of the window." The waiter who enters the tea is the essence of Taihua. The tea is crisp and the blue is quiet, and the confession is clear for a while, and it has never been there." On August 14, 1639 in the lunar calendar, when Xu Xiake arrived at gaojian trough (now Gaofeng trough village) on the lancang river, he had to drink Taihua tea again. Xu Xiake wrote in his travelogue: "On the fourteenth day, three miles down, through a village, it was dark. Two more miles down, and staying in the high simple groove. The owner of the old man, Surnamed Mei, is quite comforting to guests, and specially fried Taihua tea to drink. ”

Xu Xiake's Taihua tea was previously recorded in Xie Zhao's "Dianluo Production Strategy". Xie Zhaozhi said that there are three kinds of famous teas in Yunnan, Taihua tea, Gantong tea, and pu tea. Among them: "Gantong Tea" comes from our Dali Cangshan Mountain, and I also plant two "Gantong Tea" in my own pots.
