Karen Mok: Almost two years ago I started to prepare, to launch my doppelganger, is a superhero concept, a bit of a "Catwoman" image, the mission is to save the world, save nature, save wildlife. When I last toured "Stunning", I said that it would be my last large-scale tour, and I felt that I could share music with fans in a different form, not always running like this, running is two years, and now that technology is so developed, there should be a newer and more fun way. At that time, I thought of making virtual characters, and I myself especially liked superhero comics, which could appear in the form of comics and have their own songs.
Nandu: At that time, the "last tour" and "virtual doppelganger" were already planned, so we can still see the concert of "Mo Cat Baby"?
Karen Mok: It is possible, I really hope that there will be "Mo Cat Baby" concerts, movies, and video games in the future. When I was touring "Brilliant", I had already designed a song and dance part belonging to "Mo Cat Baby" at the concert. Theoretically, this character has already debuted, and friends who have seen "Stunning" have already seen her.
Nandu: So "Mo Cat Baby" is a long-term three-dimensional plan?
Karen Mok: At present, it is still in a stage of my own imagination and fantasy, but I think this twin is very interesting, and I want to convey greater beliefs and more messages through this doppelganger, just like loving animals and loving our earth, which is what I myself have been doing for so many years. However, I felt that my strength alone did not seem to be enough, and I felt that with such a double, she had her universe and her own story, and she could convey my beliefs more diversely.
Nandu: Do you feel like there will be a full album around "Mo Cat Baby"?
Karen Mok: Probably. The comic has come out to the third episode, before we made a more electronic song "Let the Future In", the new song "Love Fearless" is the theme song of the third episode of the comic, which is a big love song, because the third episode just has a similar boyfriend character of "Mo Cat Baby", using music to match the story of the comic, and slowly the love line comes out. This comic has a theme and a very important element is the moon, usually on the night of the full moon there will be things happening, "Mo Cat" will come out to have a salvation action. Of course, "Love Fearless" is also a good love song to listen to independently, and in the future, I think "Mo Cat Baby" can have a mini OST, and there will be some classical piano performances, and I have also begun to practice the piano myself.
Nandu: What is the opportunity for the cooperation between Xinge and Zhou Xingzhe?

When this song was launched to catch up with the epidemic, the whole world is facing an unprecedented situation, so it is particularly resonant, but when this song was made, there was no new crown epidemic, so the good song itself has a magic, just in time the mood is just right, can sing out the feelings in the heart, the voice of the heart.
Nandu: Looking back at the song "Breathing Harmful" a year later, what did it teach you?
Karen Mok: I saw many different people playing and singing this song in their own way on the video website, which was particularly touching, and I felt that making music is to be like this, to be able to communicate and interact with people, and to connect everyone through music. I haven't sung a Cantonese song for many years, but this time I can be so popular, and I sing it in the language I am most familiar with, I think it may be a little more intimate.
Nandu: Before I went to participate in "Brother With Thorns and Thorns" and played with my brothers in the Greater Bay Area, how do you think about the future of the music scene in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area?

I went to the show "Brother" and had the opportunity to meet my old friends again, which was very happy. Karen Mok: I think what language to use to sing is not the focus, the music itself can move people, we sing Cantonese songs, some fans may not be familiar with these sentences, but you can still feel what you want to express. Nandu: When you went to Shunde to participate in the Southern Music Festival, what impressions did you have?
Karen Mok: I remember, usually there is no chance to go to Shunde, I remember that the things there are particularly delicious, I am a typical foodie, I like Cantonese dim sum, herbal tea, and in Shunde I feel quite intimate, close to Hong Kong, everyone is Speaking Cantonese, there is a very familiar feeling.

Karen Mok: "So Many People in This World" is also the melody that I fell in love with immediately when I first heard it, and with the lyrics, it is more picturesque, I remember when I went to record, I really sang the people in the studio and cried, and I sang it myself until my fingers were numb. This song was composed by Peng Fei, and the arrangement is also very good, he is a very good musician, violinist, and his violin arrangement expresses sadness in a particularly three-dimensional way. Although I can't do that kind of large-scale concert, through live broadcasting, I think it is also a communication. After the live broadcast, you may have to go home first, because you haven't been home for months, so take a break first.
