If you can read the original book a few times, you will find that there is another angle to look at the Journey to the West, as the bodhisattva said: "Goku's fire-eyed golden eyes can see the truth, but tang monks' naked eyes can see the mental phase." ”
Sun Wukong can see the truth is smart, Tang Monk can see that the mind is wise; smart Wukong is a pair of ordinary eyes, and wise Tang Monk is a pair of Buddha eyes.
In the Journey to the West, the four Tang monks and apprentices traveled west together, and on the issue of fighting goblins, Goku and the master repeatedly clashed, and the master also used the big trick tightening spell many times, but in the end the two had to go to Guanyin Bodhisattva to make a judgment.
Goku said Master, in fact, what you see with your eyes is not real, look at the Nezha's Hot Wheel, it rotates like an aperture, but in fact, each fireball runs independently on the orbit, does not intersect with each other, it is your supervisor consciousness that sees it as a fire wheel. From this fact we can conclude that everything is not a single phenomenon in itself, but is formed by multiple single phenomena together. Therefore, Master, you have only seen superficial phenomena, not as good as the golden eyes of the fire eyes of The Old Sun, who can see through the phenomena to see through the essence of things, and in the future, on the issue of fighting goblins, you must listen to me, and I can ensure that you can safely reach the Western Heavens to obtain the True Scriptures.
Tang Monk sighed after shaking his bald head, Wukong you said that these teachers understand, for the master is not a demon, is not a demon, is not the intention of the master, ah, we still ask the bodhisattva to give you instructions.
So, Guanyin Bodhisattva asked Goku, as you said, ordinary people can only see phenomena with the naked eye and ignore the essence, so if you look at the total, other, same, different, different, and bad, six phases, what will you see if you look at total, other, same, different, and bad at the same time?
Goku was stunned and asked the bodhisattva, "Where did this come from?"
Guanyin Bodhisattva: Everything comes from the mind, all these years you have descended the demon Voldemort, your fire eyes and golden eyes are all the truth, but your master's buddha eyes see the mind. Do you get it?
The so-called mental phase, all things in the world are equal to each other, and how can great compassion bring down demons and exorcise demons!
Goku is indifferent, Tang Monk is indifferent.
Goku is bent on fighting goblins, because he can't let go of goblins, and can't let go of the thoughts of good and evil.
Tang Monk was bent on sensitizing the goblins, touching the heavens and the earth, but he could not impress Goku.
Different angles, different orders, different opinions, and contradictory nature, I should appreciate this process, rather than blindly pursuing the end. The path of taking the scriptures is 18,000 miles, and the real way to obtain the true scriptures is actually on this path of taking the scriptures.
We always stubbornly believe that seeing is the unchanging truth, that what we have should exist, but we do not know that what we see is very limited and one-sided, and that all we have is only the illusion of the harmony of all conditions; the only eternal and unchanging thing is this impermanent change.
The fire-eyed golden eye saw the truth, the white bone spirit was a goblin; the master's great compassion saw the state of mind, the Buddha-nature that all sentient beings possessed.
As the saying goes: Faith does not retreat, but it will go to the other shore.
Letting go of the self-clinging Goku and choosing to believe in the master of compassion, at this time Goku, enlightened a void, the golden hoop self-liberation.
Tang Monk does not send down demons to catch demons, and is often deceived because of his kindness and benevolence, but he can be the master of Sun Wukong who has entered the heavens and the earth, and I think his cleverness is that he is generous and compassionate, with his own Buddha-nature, and sees all the mental aspects.
