Sure enough, the master is in the folk! The 3D printed vase she made is a work of art
If you were given a 3D printer + a roll of consumables, what would you create?
Overseas 3D printing designer Natalie Cheesmond has long explored the artistic boundaries of 3D printing applications according to the characteristics of different consumables. Recently, she used flash casting rainbow consumables to create a series of everyday and artistic household items in vase mode.
The following flash casting takes you to enjoy these amazing works of art together
vase
Who would have thought that a simple vase could present such a variety of creativity under Natalie's ingenuity
1. Bird's Nest Vase
Natalie wanted to try to achieve the bird's nest style effect in the appearance of the vase, so she designed this different shape, combined with the gradient effect of the rainbow consumables, and became a pleasing work of art.
2. Natural vase
The reason why it is called a "natural" vase is because under the performance of this shape + rainbow color, the vase is full of vitality like a natural plant, as if it has more vitality.
3. Ring vase
After a period of exploration, Natalie specially designed a ring vase for the characteristics of rainbow consumables to play the best performance of rainbow consumables.
Each layer of the vase is designed with a ring of circular textures, which are printed in vase mode for 5 hours, allowing the rainbow consumables to show a more natural color transition, forming a blurry surface with its own filter.
Placing flowers in the home has become a beautiful landscape.
lampshade
From the light transmittance exhibited by the ring vase, Natalie derived the design of a new lampshade. When the lights are not turned on, it seems to be unremarkable, and the light is beautiful after the lights are turned on, and the atmosphere of details is full.
Star bowl
Through constant exploration, Natalie experimented with printing more complex models in vase mode. Thus, a colorful irregular star bowl was born.
(5 hours printing time using 200 g flash casting rainbow consumables)
Natalie has a lot more to offer, and she says she's a 3D printing "idiot" who is constantly trying to create new and interesting pieces of work that can't stop.
Such as the rainbow color Einstein, the gradient color penetrates each other, giving the skin a translucent feeling, different fun.
Another example is the vase of flash casting macaron color consumables, which is practical and good-looking.
As the saying goes, the master is in the folk, and sure enough, when you treat simple life as art, life is colorful. We are honored that flash casting 3D printers and consumables can help you realize your imagination and witness the birth of these creations.
