Zhuang Yougong (1713-1767), also spelled Rongke, was born in Quanzhou, Fujian, and later moved to Panyu, Guangdong. Zhuang Yougong was intelligent since childhood, and at the age of 13, he passed the Five Classics and showed extraordinary talent. In the fourth year of the Qianlong Dynasty (1739), Zhuang Yougong, who was only 27 years old, became the head of the new department. Zhuang Yougong, whose ancestral home was quanzhou and grew up in Guangdong, became the first ruler of Guangdong in the Qing Dynasty.

From the implementation of the Imperial Examination in the Tang Dynasty to the end of the Qing Dynasty, Guangdong had a total of nine titles, one each in the Tang Dynasty, the Southern Han Dynasty, and the Southern Song Dynasty, and three in the Ming Dynasty, and Zhuang Yougong was the first emperor in Guangdong in the Qing Dynasty. After entering the army, Zhuang Yougong had a smooth sailing in his early years, but later he experienced ups and downs. During the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty, he successively served as the Japanese Lecturer, the Attendant Lecturer, the Guanglu Temple Secretary, the Cabinet Scholar, the Right Attendant of the Bingbu, the Viceroy Jiangsu Xuezheng, the Hubu Shilang, the Jiangnan Township Examination Examiner, the Admiral Jiangsu Xuezheng, the Inspector of Jiangsu, the Inspector of Fujian, etc., which can be called a model of loyalty to the country and dedication to duty. It is said that Zhuang Yougong returned to his hometown of Quanzhou Gurudwara during his tenure and wrote a couplet for the ancestral hall of the Zhuang clan in Qingyang, Jinjiang- "Splendid Ennong Imperial Ink, Since the Qing Dynasty, Spoiled Qianqiu, Frequently Provoking Yuxiang Yiyuque; Taoyuan Rui Mist Spring Light, Divided into Jin Into the Tide, This Branch Hundred Generations, Common Road Spring Color Full of Qingyang." Today, in the Zhuang Family Temple in Wudian City, Jinjiang, there are also Zhuang Yougong's plaques on display, among which the high hanging "Zhuangyuan" plaque shines on the lintel, inspiring future generations and becoming a benchmark for students to strive for progress.

As a champion, Zhuang Yougong also achieved relatively high achievements in calligraphy. Zhuang Yougong took the system of the two kings of the Law, taking Wang Xi's father and son, Zhao Mengfu, taking into account the mi yuanzhang, using the pen to be exquisite, the layout was stable, and the writing was smooth and free; his pen and ink were wet and thick, and he did his best; the style was scattered and natural, quaint and peaceful, full of vitality, giving people a sense of transcendence.
