And after the heavy rain, there will be "return to the tide" in Guangdong, and cockroaches are rampant on the streets of the urban villages; the floors and clothes at home are too wet to be able to do...
But in contrast to the torment of the rain, it is a carnival when the sun is shining.
Late Tang Dynasty one early summer, late afternoon.
Li Shangyin was serving as an official in Guilin at this time.
It had been raining for many days in a row, and there was a damp fog between the mountains and waters.
At this time, the long-lost sun suddenly appeared in the west mountain, and the light of the sun was shining and the rainbow was thousands of colors.
The moisture in the air seemed to be swept away, and the rainbow then appeared, and everywhere was a golden radiance, which made people's spirits feel refreshed after a long rain.
Li Shangyin is an extremely sensitive person, and naturally he will not miss such a beautiful gift from nature. So I took advantage of the sunny day to write this gentle and romantic "Evening Sunshine".
The poem "Evening Sunshine" probably had no name at first. Later generations of people in order to facilitate the reference, to the poem image as the title. The poem tells that it is the first sunny day after the rain, and people think and feel about it.
A very common experience, a very common feeling, but in Li Shangyin's pen, it has some different meaning.
A few years ago, there seemed to be a TV series, and the heroine's name was called "Evening Qing", which suddenly sublimated the cultural style of the whole drama.

Evening Qing Li Shangyin [Tang Dynasty] lived deep in the city, and went to xia yuqing in the spring. Providence pities the grass, and the earth is heavy and sunny. And add a high cabinet, micro-note small window ming. After the nest is dried, the flying body is lighter.

This "Evening Sunshine" is a pure scenery poem to be precise. The whole poem has 8 sentences, each sentence is writing about the evening sun, writing about the performance of different landscapes and creatures in the evening sun.
Start with two sentences, first point out who and where to enjoy the scenery.
Although Li Shangyin is an official, he acts very low-key. Living on a high pavilion near the city gate tower, living in simplicity, living a leisurely life.
This evening, I suddenly felt the sunlight outside the window, so I leaned out and looked out at the city gate not far from me, outside the city gate.
The long-lost sunset is certainly beautiful, the weather at this time is also extra comfortable, spring has just passed, the wind is still refreshing, there will be no summer heat torture.
In the next two sentences, Li Shangyin turned his gaze to a deeper place. At the corner of the city gate, where the sun is difficult to reach, there was never a clump of grass, dim and dark.
Today, Providence pities the grass, and the rare sunlight shines on thousands of homes, and also brings warmth to the grass.
When it was heavy and sunny in the evening, Li Shang was living in seclusion and looking far away, and saw that every household in the city took advantage of the sunshine to take action and do something that only the sun could do. Therefore, I felt that others, like themselves, valued this rare evening sunny day.
After two sentences, his eyes retracted into his own small attic.
In the evening sky, it seems that his small building is high above the world, looking far away, as if he is in the sky; the sun is oblique, and there is a small beam hitting the window, and the whole attic is brighter and more colorful.
In the last two sentences, Li Shangyin blended his imagination into reality.
In the real sky, there are high-flying yue birds (more place names, that is, southern birds), returning to the nest with their day's harvest to feed their young birds.
In the imaginary world, because of the rain and sunshine, the nest is dried, and the shape of the birds returning to the nest is lighter and more alive.
Looking at the first six sentences, Li Shangyin's writing skills are of course impeccable, but it always feels that all the pictures are limited to the poet's line of sight, and there is not a lot of white space and free space.
The last two sentences substitute the reader's imagination into the nests of distant birds, and inject vitality into the poem.

Just to portray the evening scene, perhaps only a few images, a few metaphors, a few allusions, a few adjectives are enough.
However, what Li Shangyin did was far from writing scenes. After reading this poem, we seem to be able to appreciate a little bit of Li Shangyin's state of mind at that time.
It is still the classic hazy and romantic, but Li Shangyin in this poem has more fireworks in the world and more optimistic and positive life.
