author:Chen Xiaoli

Zhu Yunjiao, the second emperor of the Ming Dynasty, the eldest grandson of Zhu Yuanzhang, and the son of the crown prince Zhu Biao. Within a few years of his reign, he was ousted by his uncle's rebellion. Because his father Zhu Biao died before Zhu Yuanzhang, Zhu Yuanzhang was also in grief, because the crown prince Zhu Biao was kind and sincere in his life, and the ministers were more satisfied with his position as prince. After his death, the candidate for the crown prince of the Ming Dynasty was vacant, and the ministers in the court were constantly controversial about the selection of the crown prince.

At this time, Zhu Yuanzhang was also embarrassed for the position of crown prince, and the final decision was unexpected. He skipped over the other sons and directly chose his eldest grandson Zhu Yunjiao to succeed to the crown prince. For this reason, his sons were very dissatisfied, but because of Zhu Yuanzhang's existence, his sons dared to be angry and dare not speak out, and could only honestly obey the arrangements of their father and emperor.

Once, Zhu Yuanzhang took a branch full of thorns, and he asked Zhu Yunjiao to dispose of the thorns on it, and Zhu Yunjiao saw that there were many thorns on it and hesitated. So Zhu Yuanzhang himself wiped the thorn off with his hand, and in an instant, the entire palm of his hand was covered in blood. Zhu Yuanzhang said: "Now that I have removed these thorns for you, you can sit back and relax under tomorrow." Zhu Yunjiao asked, "Then what if my uncles who are the kings of the clan rebel?" At this time, Zhu Yuanzhang was stunned at once, and he asked Zhu Yunjiao, "What do you say to do?" Zhu Yunjiao said: "Enwei and shi, treat it with sincerity." Later, Zhu Yuanzhang did not say anything more.

With the passage of time, zhu Yuanzhang, the founding emperor of the Ming Dynasty, died of illness, and the emperor's eldest grandson Zhu Yunjiao inherited the throne of the emperor's grandfather. After arranging the aftermath of his grandfather, the ministers in the court wrote to the emperor to withdraw the domain, and at this time, Zhu Yunjiao also believed that the kings of the various regions posed a great threat to his imperial power, and he also felt that his uncles were pregnant with ghosts, so he decided to start withdrawing the domain. He listened to the advice of a minister and felt that persimmons should be squeezed softly first, and the kings of the clans with less power would be dismissed one after another. At this time, Zhu Di, the powerful Yan king in the north, also felt the pressure given to him by the imperial court.

What Zhu Yunwan did not expect was that this fourth uncle of his was not so easy to deal with, and the King of Yan openly agreed to the imperial court's request to withdraw the domain, he pretended to be crazy and stupid, but secretly commanded his henchmen to prepare for rebellion.

When Zhu Di felt that the time was ripe, he killed the Chincha sent by the imperial court, raised his arms, and gathered his three generals under the banner that there were villains around the emperor and wanted to qing jun's side, and waved his division south.

Upon hearing the news of Zhu Di's rebellion, Zhu Yunjiao was very anxious, and he hurriedly anxious for the ministers to discuss countermeasures, and the ministers recommended military talents for the Northern Expedition, and many battles with Zhu Di, the imperial army was defeated and retreated, and in the end the imperial court had no one to use. This is all because Zhu Yuanzhang killed heroes and persecuted a large number of military talents during his lifetime, resulting in a shortage of military talents during Zhu Yunjiao's time. That's why he couldn't compete with Zhu Di. With Zhu Di's southern expedition, the gates of Nanjing were breached, and Zhu Yunjiao's whereabouts were unknown.

This time, Zhu Yunjiao's disappearance has become a mystery for eternity. Some say he became a monk, others say he was burned to death in the war, and some say he went into exile. Zhu Yunjiao's subsequent ending cannot be confirmed to this day.

After overthrowing his nephew, he became the third emperor of the Ming Dynasty with his prestige and strength. During his reign, he continued to search for Zhu Yunjiao's whereabouts, but until his death, he did not find out Zhu Yunjiao's whereabouts.

In his lifetime, Zhu Di compiled the Yongle Canon, moved the capital to Beijing, and built the Forbidden City. Weaken the power of the clan kings and strengthen the centralization of power. Reusing the navigator Zheng He, he went to the West seven times and strengthened maritime trade. The prevention of Mongolian border troubles was strengthened, enabling the people of the Ming Dynasty to live a stable life and creating a prosperous era of Yongle.

Although the merits of his life are quite controversial, he is indeed a very accomplished emperor.
