35 days – a turning point in life

When people reach middle age, they have seen and heard a lot before, but what happened to others is indeed a story. Until one day it happens to you, you can really appreciate the taste.

When you are young, you do not pay attention to the protection of the body, and the disease of the whole body in your 40s, lumbar spondylosis, cervical spondylosis, and frozen shoulder, which are all "rich diseases" that cannot be tired or cold, and can only be carefully raised. And I have both old and young, and basically do not have the conditions for rest.

But what can you do when you go out to work? At this age, if there is no skill, there are too few work options, nothing more than housekeeping, cleaning and supermarkets, but most of these are manual labor, and their bodies cannot withstand it. The helplessness of this is beyond words.

A chance gave me a glimmer of hope. I used to look at my phone and never pay attention to advertisements, but on that day, the ghost sent God, I saw a writing advertisement about reading books to monetize, this content deeply attracted me.

Growing up, the only good habit I stuck to was reading. Whenever I immerse myself in the book, I can get a moment of peace in my heart and no longer feel anxious about real life.

Therefore, when I saw the realization of reading, I saw a glimmer of light in the dark, and I thought what a happy thing it would be if I could turn my hobby into a way to make money! Because of this idea, although I didn't know anything about the idea of reading and monetizing, I resolutely signed up for the Ewha Book Garden's reading and monetization writing training camp.

Perhaps, every teenager who likes to read has had the dream of becoming a writer, and I am no exception. For a "writer's dream" when I was young, I was excited and devoted myself to the study of the training camp.

When I first started listening to Mr. Xiao Qian's lectures, I felt that I had opened the door to another field for me. It's an area I don't know at all, and the discovery that I can still make money by reading books is new and exciting. I also learned that there are many ways to read books, such as: recommended book manuscripts, book reviews, emotional essays, course drafts, book manuscripts, etc.

After listening to a few lessons happily, I have to complete the homework left by the teacher, and the first style to practice is to recommend the manuscript. When listening to the lecture, I felt very simple, and I knew that I was stuck when I wrote. Only 300 words of recommended book manuscript actually do not know how to write, I think it is so difficult!

Originally, I thought that I would learn in the future and get a relatively high fee by writing manuscripts such as book manuscripts to alleviate the pressure of life, but now I can't even write a 300-word recommended book manuscript, and the mood at that time can be imagined.

The other students in the class submitted homework one after another, and the teacher made comments, after reading several students' homework and teacher's comments, I listened to the class several times again, and finally wrote the first recommended book manuscript, taking this difficult first step.

After the guidance teacher patiently corrected and commented, plus their own revisions, the recommended book manuscript was finally passed. I thought everything was difficult at the beginning, this most difficult step I have already stepped out, the next should be easier and easier, but no!

The next thing I studied was book reviews, and I got stuck here again, and I felt it was harder than recommending a manuscript. A manuscript is a book review that doesn't know how to write, and a book review that doesn't know what to write. Then I listened to the relevant lessons again, communicated with the teacher, and finally completed and passed the draft.

After that, I learned how to write emotional texts and course drafts, although the number of words was more and the difficulty was greater, but under the guidance of the teacher and the encouragement of the students, the stumbling also completed the homework. In addition to my own efforts, being able to successfully complete the learning goals is inseparable from the help of the teachers and the motivation of the students.

Through the 35 days of study and practice at the bootcamp, I found that my expression was more logical and clearer. Moreover, the words said by Teacher Xiaoqian touched me very much, prompting me to strengthen my determination to go down the road of reading and realizing.

In a live class, Mr. Xiaoqian said that in this learning process, what we most hope we can learn is the ability to disassemble, and once you have this ability, you will find the core of a thing.

My ability to understand disassembly is the ability to analyze and refine, and having this ability is equivalent to having the ability to think logically, so that I will see things more clearly and live more thoroughly.

As a result, I carefully completed every homework assigned by the teacher, and every manuscript recorded my growth. I still remember the first time I learned that the manuscript of the recommended book had been drafted, I was very excited, although it was only a few hundred words, but for me it was a turning point in my life, indicating that I had found my own value and the direction of my future efforts.
