Tom Holland recently revealed in an interview with Total View that the upcoming Spider-Man: No Way Home plot isn't as casual and relaxed as it used to be.
He hinted to fans: "People may be surprised that this movie is not fun. It's dark, it's sad, and it's going to be very moving. You'll see your favorite character go through things you never want to see in him." Speaking about this version of Peter Parker, Tom Hollander said: "He was always very positive, he always said ' I can solve this problem, I can do it', and in this film, the confrontation he encountered made him feel 'I don't know what to do'. It's a side I've never seen in this role, so I'm really looking forward to trying to deal with that dilemma."
Tom Holland also revealed that although he had only seen the footage and not the entire film, he assured fans, "This is the best Spider-Man movie we've ever made." I do think the fans aren't ready for them to put all that together, and I know I'm not ready either and I understand it's going to be brutal."
Spider-Man: No Way Home is expected to be released on December 15.
