Secondly, he followed Wei Boyang's path and believed that since people are born of qi, then people's life and death directly depend on the strength of qi and its changes, so "how to nourish qi" has become his primary problem. In response to this problem, he developed a set of cultivation theories that spit out the old and accept the new. Finally, it is difficult for people to keep the vitality of their endowments in life, so he pays attention to the question of "how to refine the golden dan to make life last forever". In response to this problem, he tightened the medical theory of the alchemists at that time and developed the foreign dan science of "pretending to be self-reliant by external objects".
