Henry Golding, the star of "Picking Gold", set up a film production company, and there were no mistakes in front of and behind the scenes

Last Thursday, actor Henry Golding and his wife Liv Lowe at the 2018 GQ Men's Party in Beverly Hills.

Henry Golding, a former hairdresser before starring in the film, tweeted on Wednesday (June 19) that he had set up his own production company in order to cement his identity as a producer.

The company is called "Longhouse Making", which is an affirmation of his years growing up in Sarawak, Malaysia, where he once lived in a traditional local longhouse.

Golding told Hollywood Reporter that Longhouse, a partner of China Starlight Culture and Entertainment Group, said: "I am excited to bring unique stories from my experiences and time of life in Asia, London, the United States and around the world to the films I am making and the materials I am looking forward to developing."

Picking Gold opened the door for him to star in other films, such as Paul Feiger's Last Christmas and Guy Richie's Gentlemen.

Starlight has worked with directors James Wan and Jon M. Chu, who directed The Golden Harvest.

Golding, who will appear in two action films in the future, playing the killer in one of them, knows he has a chance to get some Asian actors who have never been.

"I take this responsibility very seriously because I am making an impression on the Western film industry and perhaps opening the door for those who come after me."
