White-bellied pintail green dove, male overall olive green, thorax, waist and tail coverts lighter green; the sides of the neck are stained with light orange yellow, the back of the neck is gray-green; the upper wing wrist has small purple-red patches, the flight feathers are black, the feathers of the secondary flight feathers are goose yellow, the lower and subwing coverts of the flying feathers are dark gray, the abdomen is white, the tail feathers are grayish black, the central pair of tail feathers are specialized and extended and pointed, the rump feathers and the subtail coverts are bright yellow mixed with olive green, the inner ring of the iris is light blue, and the outer ring is red. The bare skin around the eyes and the base of the beak are brightly sky blue , the beak tip is gray , and the tarsals and toes are purple-red.
