The 2021 Yandu Culture and Art Exhibition and Performance Month was successfully concluded

On the evening of November 8, the newly created stage repertoire of the 2021 Yandu Culture and Art Exhibition and Performance Month came to a successful conclusion at the Grand Theater of the Municipal Culture and Arts Center. The large-scale historical Huai opera "Fan Gong Di", newly created by the Huai Opera Troupe of Jiangsu Province, was brilliantly staged as a closing performance. Xu Ning, deputy director of the Propaganda Department of the Provincial Party Committee, and Chen Weihong, member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee and director of the Propaganda Department, watched the performance.

The large-scale historical Huai drama "Fan Gong Di" is based on the novel of the same name by Youwen, which tells the story of Fan Zhongyan's experience of folk suffering and unswerving construction of the sea barrier during his tenure in Xixi. The play praises the great feelings of a generation of sages who "worry about the world before the world, and enjoy the happiness of the world after the world", embodies the mission of a generation of literati doctors who take the world as their own responsibility, and shows their tenacious will to always move forward in the face of difficulties and setbacks. The wonderful interpretation and moving plot deeply touched the audience and won bursts of applause and applause.

The newly created stage repertoire of this year's Yandu Culture and Art Exhibition and Performance Month was held in Yancheng from July to November 2021, with the purpose of "the party's grand ceremony and the people's festival", closely focusing on the theme of celebrating the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, and focusing on the 14 newly created stage plays in Yancheng in the past two years. All kinds of works focus on the new era, carry forward the main theme, and provide a strong spiritual force for the construction of a "strong, rich and high" modern new Yancheng.

Before the performance, the Yancheng Wenhua Performance Award, the Wenhua Honor Award, the Wenhua Award and the Individual Award were also awarded.
