Wu Peng said that since the establishment of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation, China-Africa agricultural cooperation has developed rapidly. China has helped African countries build agricultural demonstration centers, continue to send agricultural experts, carry out agricultural technical cooperation, and support Africa in developing characteristic industries such as bamboo, rattan, fungus and grass. The "Report on Chinese Enterprises Investing in Africa" released by the Chinese Non-governmental Chamber of Commerce two weeks ago pointed out that there are at least 120 non-agricultural enterprises in China, China's rice planting projects in Mozambique have planted an area of 30,000-40,000 mu, and Chinese enterprises have signed cotton planting agreements with more than 200,000 farmers in Malawi, Mozambique, Zambia, Zimbabwe and other countries. China is sincerely expanding african agricultural imports. At present, the annual trade volume of agricultural products between China and Africa exceeds 7 billion US dollars, and more than 350 kinds of agricultural food products in Africa can be sold in China. A few days ago, we held the "African Product e-commerce promotion season", focusing on further expanding the sales of African agricultural products in China.

Wu Peng pointed out that at the end of this year, a new session of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation will be held in Senegal, and strengthening agricultural cooperation will be one of the important topics of the meeting. China will support Chinese enterprises in expanding their investment in Africa, continue to send agricultural experts to African countries, cooperate with African countries to cultivate agricultural scientific and technological talents, help African countries fight natural disasters, promote increased grain production and income, achieve food security at an early date, and make new contributions to building a closer China-Africa community of common destiny.

Under the theme of "The Road to Post-pandemic Reconstruction and a Reliable Food Security System", the african Green Revolution Forum was co-sponsored by the NGO Alliance for green revolutions in Africa and the Government of Kenya. Kenyan President Kenyatta, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the African Green Revolution Alliance, former Prime Minister Helmariam of Ethiopia, United Nations Deputy Secretary-General Amina, Kenya and other African ministers, representatives of the African Union Commission and the African Union Development Agency, the British Foreign Office's Minister for Africa Affairs, OFFICIALS of the United States Agency for International Development, and representatives of relevant enterprises and institutions attended the meeting.
