Yi Qianxi: Before joining the Seven Lians, Wanli was a child who grew up by the river, and he was a person who did not care about the sky and the earth. In the movie, my line mainly shows how he faced war and life and death after he entered the army and joined the Seventh Company, showing the changes in his way.
Red Star News: For you, what is the difficulty in interpreting this role?
Qianxi Yi: The difficulty is that I have to find out where the key growth nodes are. For example, the look in his eyes after growing up, what kind of state he is after growing up, how do I show that he has been "crushed" by war. The drama after joining is the part that is more difficult to master.
Red Star News: How did you complete the psychological construction before shaping the character?
Yi Qianxi: I have seen a sentence - "How can a teenager get old quickly?" Going through a war can make a teenager quickly grow thirty years older. After seeing this sentence, I used it as my psychological basis. I pondered slowly in my mind, recalling the picture of the important people around me leaving in front of me; then, I thought again about what Wanli experienced, the feeling of being crushed by the giant wheel of war, that is, "rapidly getting old."

Red Star News Reporter: Director Xu Ke once revealed that after booting up, as the character grows, your face doesn't even look the same. Although the role of Wu Qianli is similar to the age of your previous character, the mission is completely different, and in a short period of time, you have to present a very complex growth line, how do you achieve "character evolution"?
Yi Qianxi: The evolution of this role is not only the construction of the heart, but also some from the outside, including limbs, heads, eyes, and so on. Maybe in the early stage this person is a frequency, and slowly this frequency is changing, from the inside to the outside to change. The director will also help us, point out where we need attention, help us "push up" the character, little by little, little by little.

Yi Yi Qianxi: I am very happy, we are in a crew, doing a role, not just standing in front of the camera to perform the part, these are our jobs. Yi Qianxi: My brother Wu Qianli, left home for ten years, and when he suddenly came back, I actually hated my brother a little, but I also had a little admiration. But this worship must not be discovered by him, and I must hide it. I found the courage of a soldier in him, and I wanted to follow him into the army.
In fact, Wanli's motivation for joining the army at the beginning was to play a handsome man, want to be a hero, and want to rush around with a gun in his hand. Then, I also wanted to find out how my eldest brother Wu Baili died, and I also wanted to show it in front of my brother Wu Qianli and let him recognize me once. Yi Qianxi: Because Chen Dao had also been a soldier before, Chen Dao had a special feeling for Chinese soldiers, so this feeling would be projected into every character of the Seventh Company. At the beginning, we first went in from the Chen Dao group and entered the role state, and when we were there, Chen Dao would tell us a lot about the background of the character, such as a look, what it contains, why it grows such things about the character from the root. In the back part of Xu Dao, this is after Chen Dao laid the foundation, he is going to go inside the war scene, at this time, he knows what this role looks like in the war, and what it should look like for the brothers of the Seventh Company. In the design of Director Lin's action scenes, there will be a very special place for each character, and different actions will be handled according to each character, and the characteristics of each character will develop into a place with its own characteristics. Yi Qianxi: Half a year, I am still the first time to stay in a crew for such a long time, which is the longest.
Red Star News: This is your first time shooting a war film, how do you feel?
Yi Yiqianxi: When boys were young, most of them liked guns, and when I was a child, I liked to run around in the field with corn stalks, think of the environment as a trench, and then crouch down and imagine that someone came over there. This time I really made a war movie, and it felt particularly fresh. For example, guns, tanks, etc., the sense of reality is very strong, and I have never been exposed to it before, and I feel very happy.
Red Star News: This is your first time shooting a war film, have you felt any fear of those realistic corpses and those explosion points? And how do you overcome this fear?
Yi Yi Qianxi: Before the shooting, I actually only touched the real gun once when shooting, and at the beginning I encountered some explosion points, I heard Brother Jing say that although those were empty package bullets, but the paper was very close, the gun was hit, and those gunpowder explosions would still splash on the paper, so I was a little scared at first. Slowly, after a long time in that war scene, after shooting for several months, I actually adapted.

Red Star News: At the press conference of "Chosin Lake", you said that "this is the most difficult moment since filming", can you describe how difficult it is?
Yi Qianxi: First of all, because I haven't made a few scenes, and I haven't encountered any particularly difficult times. But the most direct difficulty of the play "Chosin Lake" is cold, pure cold. The weather was already very cold, and in order to be effective, the big wind canister had to be blown very close to us, and it was necessary to add snow flakes to the wind, and the snow flakes blew very quickly, and the face was scratching with pain, as if sand and wind could penetrate people.
And we still have to perform, we have to force ourselves to open our eyes, during that time every day in the nose, eyes, mouth is full of snowflakes, after each shot must be cleaned up, otherwise it will affect the speaking of lines.
Red Star News Reporter: For you, the most impressive or the most difficult to deal with in the movie, which scene is it?
Yi Qianxi: For me, it has always been more difficult to deal with at the beginning, that is, those scenes on the riverside and the boat side. Because that was part of the foundation that Wanli had to lay before changing into a military uniform, at that time, when he first entered the group, he would think a little more.
Red Star News: How do you want the audience, especially young audiences, to feel after watching this movie?
Yi Qianxi: I think Wanli is a perspective of the audience's understanding of the battlefield now. If we imagine what it would be like for our young people to enter the war, it may be similar to Wanli, and they will experience changes in his heart. The cruelty of war, the kind of damage that war crushes, is almost impossible for us to appreciate now.
