The manuscript of Yangzhou commentator Hui Zhaolong was exposed for the first time to reproduce the past of learning art with Wang Shaotang

Later, I learned that this paragraph I said was only a small plot in the book "Kangwen Defense". "Kang Wen Defending Guilt" is an important review of "Wu Song", it is a book of work, the performance is more difficult, and it is not good to say that there is no solid basic skill, which is why the old man of Shaotang was surprised to sit up from the rattan chair. He turned to the man sitting next to him and said, "He has God in his eyes." I looked into his deep, bright eyes and suddenly realized a truth, it turns out that it is very important to say that "the eyes have God" in the book. Soon, I was in the regiment. Only two students were admitted this time.

In the history of Yangzhou commentary, Hui Zhaolong is an important commentator. He was instructed by Wang Shaotang, the grandmaster of the Yangzhou Critics Generation, and on the basis of inheriting Wang Pai's "Water Margin", he also conformed to the times, creating and performing a large number of new books, such as "Advancing into Northern Jiangsu", etc., and was the first winner of the "Performance Award" of the Chinese Quyi Peony Award in Yangzhou. Hui Zhaolong once served as the head of the Yangzhou Qu Art Troupe and trained excellent commentators such as Ma Wei.

Hui Zhaolong died of illness in 2011, and before his death, he passed on a lot of information to his apprentice Ma Wei. Yesterday, when Ma Wei was sorting out Hui Zhaolong's relics, he found a manuscript entitled "Memories of Two or Three Things Around Wang Shaotang", which reproduced his past of learning art with Wang Shaotang.

The first exposure of the precious manuscript describes his learning process

Hui Zhaolong, Yangzhou commentary performance artist, national first-class actor, enlightened by the Yangzhou critic master Wang Shaotang, specializing in "Water Margin". In 1977, he created and performed a series of commentaries on "Chen Yi" such as the new book "Chess High One", "Chen Yi Baike", "Chen Yi Crossing the River", etc., which became a hit in the national music and art circles, and was called "Living Chen Yi" in the book world.

Why is it said that enlightenment was initiated by Wang Shaotang? Hui Zhaolong recalled in an interview with reporters before he died: "Because it was a book by Master Wang Shaotang that fascinated me with Yangzhou commentary, and it was he who personally interviewed me, which put me on the road of 'commentary'. In the second grade, Hui Zhaolong walked into the Yangzhou teaching field for the first time and heard Wang Shaotang performing the important book "Kang Wen Defending Crimes" of "Wu Song", and his soul was immediately hooked. "I still remember that day I walked back to my home on Dongguan Street with the words 'Kang Wen Justification'." When he arrived at the school, Hui Zhaolong also told his classmates.

When he was 17 years old, Hui Zhaolong applied for the Yangzhou Qu Art Troupe, and he said a "Kang Wen Justification", and his vivid speaking table and clear pronunciation of the words surprised Wang Shaotang, who was lying down, and sat up from the recliner. The more than thirty people who applied for the exam together ended up with only two people, including Hui Zhaolong.

In the manuscript titled "Memories of Two or Three Things Around Wang Shaotang", which was first exposed, it is this past that is recorded. The manuscript is composed of three manuscripts, "The First Time I Listened to the Book", "I Said "Kang Wen Defends Guilt", and "Speaking of the New Book", which reproduce in detail how Hui Zhaolong became acquainted with yangzhou commentaries, how he studied the qu art troupe, and followed Wang Shaotang to learn art.

Mr. Article Reminiscence Mr. Comments on the Legacy passed on to future generations

Seeing this manuscript, Ma Wei was also full of emotions. These stories, when I studied with Mr. Hui Zhaolong before, Hui Zhaolong also told them, and now through the manuscript, these past scenes are reproduced, which makes people sigh. The characters in the text, Wang Shaotang and Hui Zhaolong, are no longer alive. But their pursuit of art, as well as their serious attitude, are still touching.

Ma Wei said that when Mr. Hui Zhaolong first learned to comment, it was also because he overheard Mr. Wang Shaotang's book this time, and in the process of learning art, he also got Mr. Wang Shaotang's guidance. From Mr. Hui Zhaolong's articles, all express the respect for Mr. Wang Shaotang, for Mr. Wang Shaotang, there are many titles, such as "Mr. Wang Shaotang", "Wang Lao", "Shaotang Old Man", "Wang Daddy", etc. From the changes in these titles, we can also see Mr. Hui Zhaolong's feelings for Mr. Wang Shaotang, from the initial reverence to the later kindness.

Ma Wei recalled that when Mr. Hui Zhaolong was alive, he was very concerned about himself. The artistic requirements are very high, just like Mr. Wang Shaotang did in those years: "The movement of raising an eyebrow, raising an eye, and making a gesture is not sloppy." In addition, the tone is high and low, fast and slow, and it cannot be wrong at all", and in life, it is also caring, kind and kind. Today, although Mr. Yang has passed away, the dedication and dedication of gentlemen to the art of Yangzhou commentary is still passed down from generation to generation. Reporter Wang Lu
