Xinglin Town, Huazhou District, Weinan City: Welcome home! Jian Yangyang, the winner of the 8th National Moral Model Nomination Award, returned with honors

On the afternoon of November 6, Jian Yangyang, the winner of the 8th National Moral Model Nomination Award, accompanied by Zhang Hongchuan, deputy director of the Civilization Office of the Weinan Municipal Party Committee, returned to Huazhou, and Wang Xiaopeng, member of the Standing Committee of the District Cpc Committee and director of the Propaganda Department, Zheng Junfeng, secretary of the Party Committee of Xinglin Town, and other relevant leaders, together with Jian Yangyang's family and cadres and mass representatives of Xinglin Town, held a simple welcome ceremony for the return of Comrade Jian Yangyang in the Xincheng community of Xinglin Town. It is understood that Jian Yangyang, a "post-90s" boy born in 1991, is an ordinary employee of the gasification branch of Shaanxi Shaanhua Coal Chemical Group Co., Ltd. On the evening of July 16, 2018, near Shidiyu in Xinglin Town, Huazhou District, Jian Yangyang and his friends were eating at the farm when there was a flash flood in Yunei, and two adults and children were trapped in the middle of the river. Due to the flooding, two rescues failed. Jian Yangyang grabbed the rope and tied it to his waist, resolutely jumped down the river, ignored the torrent of mud and sand, and went up against the current to reach the two people. He took the child from the adult's hand, said " Hold on, come and save you immediately ", then turn around and lean a few meters to the shore, throw the child to the shore, and then turn around and swim hard to the adult. Just when the adult was about to be swept down by the river, Jian YangYang tried his best to swoop down and grab her hand. The adults were saved, and the surrounding crowd was full of praise.

There are no heroes who fall from the sky, only mortals who stand up. In the face of the flood, Comrade Jian Yangyang stepped forward in times of crisis and gave help in times of crisis. It shows the responsibility of young people in the new era and reflects the heroic nature of the post-90s generation.
