阿道司·倫納德·赫胥黎（Aldous Leonard Huxley，1894年7月26日——1963年11月22日），英格蘭作家。
屬于著名的赫胥黎家族。祖父是生物學家、進化論支援者托馬斯·亨利·赫胥黎（Thomas Henry Huxley）。少時就讀于伊頓公學，後畢業于牛津大學的貝利奧爾學院。他下半生在美國生活，1937年移居洛杉矶，在那裡生活到1963年去世。曾想做醫生，卻因為視力障礙改變初衷，從事了文學。作為生物學家的兒子，他從小受到良好的教育。他對人類生活中的沖突具有超人的預見力。盡管一次眼疾幾乎讓他視力全失，但在學習了盲文後，他逐漸開始寫作，先後創作了許多脍炙人口的小說，并在20世紀成為一個明星人物。
他以小說和大量散文作品聞名于世，也出版短篇小說、遊記、電影故事和劇本。通過他的小說和散文，赫胥黎充當了社會道德、标準和理想的拷問人，有時候也是批評家。赫胥黎是一個人文主義者，但是在晚年也對通靈題目如超心理學和哲學和神秘主義感興趣。在人生的最後階段，赫胥黎在一些學術圈被認為是現代思想的上司者，位列當時最傑出的知識分子行列。
他在1932年創作的《美麗新世界》讓他名留青史。著名作品有長篇小說: 《鉻黃》（1921）、《男女滑稽圓舞》（1923）、《光秃秃的樹葉》（1925）、《點對點》（1923）、《瞎了眼睛在噶紮》（1936）、《幾個夏季之後》（1939）、《時間須靜止》（1944）、《天才與女神》（1955）、《島》（1962）等。
個人生活
他17歲完成了他第一部小說（未出版），并在20歲之後開始嚴肅的寫作。他最初出版的小說都為社會諷刺小說，以《克羅姆·耶婁》（1921年）為始。
在一戰期間，赫胥黎将自己的大部分時間花在了莫雷爾夫人的加辛頓莊園裡。在此他見到了包括伯特蘭·羅素和克萊夫·貝爾在内的幾位布盧姆茨伯裡派成員。在《克羅姆·耶婁》中，他描繪了在加辛頓的生活。
1919年，他同在加辛頓遇到的比利時女子瑪麗娅·妮斯結婚，育有一子。
20年代，一家人在意大利生活了一段時間，赫胥黎也借此拜訪了自己的朋友大衛·赫伯特·勞倫斯。
在1930年勞倫斯去世後，他編輯了勞倫斯的信件。在這段時間，他的創作包括了反映科技發展滅絕人性的一面的小說，其中最著名的便是《美麗新世界》，以及和平主義的作品（如《加沙盲人》）。在《美麗新世界》中，赫胥黎描繪了一個建立在大規模生産和巴甫洛夫條件反射原則上運作的社會。他深受馬蒂亞斯·亞曆山大的影響，将他寫入了《加沙盲人》中。
赫胥黎在這一階段開始創作和編輯有關和平主義的非小說作品，包括《目的和手段》、《和平主義百科全書》、以及《和平主義與哲學》，并且還是和平承諾聯盟的活躍成員。
1937年，赫胥黎和妻子瑪麗娅、兒子馬修和朋友傑拉爾德·赫德一起搬到了好萊塢居住。他主要在美國加州南部生活，直至去世，但也在新墨西哥州的陶斯生活了一段時間，并寫出了《目的和手段》一書（1937年出版）。這部作品表現了在現代社會中人們都希望能夠生活在一個“自由、和平、公正、愛如弟兄”的世界裡，但在如何實作上卻無法達成一緻。
赫德向赫胥黎介紹了基于不害原則上的吠檀多、冥想和素食主義。1938年赫胥黎與吉杜·克裡希那穆提結為好友。
1919年，他與在加辛頓遇到的比利時女子瑪麗娅·妮斯（1899年9月10日 - 1955年2月12日）結婚，育有一子馬修·赫胥黎（1920年4月19日 - 2005年2月10日）。馬修後來成為作家、人類學家和流行病學家。
1955年妮斯死于乳癌。
1956年他與作家勞拉·阿切拉結婚。她創作了赫胥黎的傳記《時光消逝的瞬間》。
1960年赫胥黎被診斷患有喉癌。在随後的幾年裡，健康狀況每況愈下的赫胥黎寫出了烏托邦小說《島》。
臨終時的赫胥黎已經無法言語，他通過手寫向妻子勞拉要求“麥角酰二乙胺，100毫克，肌肉注射”。根據勞拉在《時光消逝的瞬間》中的記載，她服從了，在早上11時45分完成了一次注射，并于幾小時後完成了另一次。
他死于1963年11月22日下午5時20分，肯尼迪被暗殺的幾小時之後，享年69歲。他的骨灰被安放在英國薩裡郡康普頓沃茨公墓的家族墳墓裡。
