金山幼居北京,置身身厚重土壤。80年代初,随改革開放浪潮東渡日本留學深造,在日本生活三十餘載,雖百般艱辛,卻從未放棄追求而擱置手中之筆;身居異域,卻心系故土,2012年毅然放棄海外生活歸國定居,全心投入藝術創作和研究;衆知“紙上得來終覺淺,絕知此事要躬行”,金山專程到清華美院高研班深造,此種“不改初心,方得始終”之求知精神難能可貴。金山書法主攻行楷,對顔、柳、歐、趙諸帖皆有涉獵,猶重榜書創作與研究,其書行筆沉穩,使轉自如,渾厚天成,端莊雄健,有皇家大氣之風範;繪畫主攻花鳥,兼寫動物,以書入畫,猶喜畫獒,走寫意一路,用筆酣暢淋漓,具有皇家氣魄。

Jinshan Youju lives in Beijing, immersed in thick soil. In the early 1980s, following the wave of reform and opening up, I traveled to Japan to further my studies and lived there for more than 30 years. Although it was difficult, I never gave up pursuing and put aside my pen; Living in a foreign land, but with a deep attachment to their homeland, they resolutely gave up their overseas life and returned to their home country to settle down in 2012, devoting themselves wholeheartedly to artistic creation and research; It is widely known that "what is learned on paper is shallow, but if one knows this matter, they must practice it." Jinshan specially went to the senior research class of Tsinghua Academy of Fine Arts to further his studies. This spirit of seeking knowledge, which is "not changing one's original intention, can always be achieved", is commendable. Jinshan Calligraphy mainly focuses on running regular script, and has a deep understanding of various calligraphy styles such as Yan, Liu, Ou, and Zhao. It places particular emphasis on the creation and research of imperial edicts. Its writing style is steady, allowing for easy translation, rich and natural, dignified and vigorous, with a royal and grand demeanor; Painting focuses on flowers and birds, while also depicting animals. Drawing from books, I still enjoy painting Mastiffs. Walking along the path of freehand brushwork, I use my brush profusely, exuding a royal aura.
