Yuan Jianguo, whose ancestral home is Henan, was born in Anyang, the ancient capital of the Yin and Shang dynasties, which is a famous calligraphy city in China. Engaged in research on Yin Shang culture, oracle bone inscriptions, and the Book of Changes for a long time, skilled in literature, music, and film and television drama creation, especially unique in calligraphy and painting (inheritors of intangible cultural heritage). He is currently the Vice Chairman of the Chinese Calligraphers and Painters Association and a member of the Chinese Folk Literature and Art Association. He is the only inheritor of the intangible cultural heritage of Chinese blowing and painting, and is currently a specially invited guest professor in the "Artists" program of China Central Television.
Its official script is characterized by indulgence, passion, and strong visual impact. Especially by incorporating simplified script and cursive script into the clerical script, it enriches the aesthetic elements of the calligraphy style, pursues the compatibility of gold and stone with multiple genres, and makes the clerical script have a high ancient and interesting atmosphere, showcasing personal style. His calligraphy works have been exhibited and collected at the Chinese Language Museum.
