孔融是孔子的后代，他小时候非常懂礼貌。
Kong Rong was a descendant of Confucius and was very polite as a child.
在一个阳光明媚的日子，孔融和他的兄弟们围坐在一起吃梨。梨很多，又大又甜。孔融的爸爸把梨分给孩子们，让他们自己选择。
On a sunny day, Kong Rong and his brothers sat together eating pears. There were many pears, and they were big and sweet. Kong Rong's father distributed the pears among the children, letting them choose for themselves.
当轮到孔融挑选梨时，他没有像其他孩子那样挑最大最甜的梨，而是挑了一个最小的梨。他的爸爸看到了，感到很奇怪，就问孔融为什么挑那么小的梨。
When it was Kong Rong's turn to pick a pear, he did not choose the biggest and sweetest pear like the other children. Instead, he chose the smallest one. His father saw this and was very surprised, so he asked Kong Rong why he chose such a small pear.
孔融笑着回答说：“因为我还小，所以挑小梨就好，哥哥们比我大，应该吃更大的梨。弟弟们比我更小，我应该爱护他们，让他们吃更大更甜的梨。”
Kong Rong smiled and replied, "Since I am young, a small pear is fine for me. My older brothers are bigger and should eat the bigger pears. My younger siblings are even smaller, so I should care for them and let them have the bigger and sweeter pears."
他的爸爸听了非常高兴，因为孔融懂得尊敬兄长，而且照顾弟弟妹妹。
His father was very pleased to hear this because Kong Rong knew how to respect his elder brothers and take care of his younger siblings.
孔融让梨的故事被传为佳话，至今还被很多人记住，提醒我们要做一个有礼貌和有爱心的人。
