孔融是孔子的後代，他小時候非常懂禮貌。
Kong Rong was a descendant of Confucius and was very polite as a child.
在一個陽光明媚的日子，孔融和他的兄弟們圍坐在一起吃梨。梨很多，又大又甜。孔融的爸爸把梨分給孩子們，讓他們自己選擇。
On a sunny day, Kong Rong and his brothers sat together eating pears. There were many pears, and they were big and sweet. Kong Rong's father distributed the pears among the children, letting them choose for themselves.
當輪到孔融挑選梨時，他沒有像其他孩子那樣挑最大最甜的梨，而是挑了一個最小的梨。他的爸爸看到了，感到很奇怪，就問孔融為什麼挑那麼小的梨。
When it was Kong Rong's turn to pick a pear, he did not choose the biggest and sweetest pear like the other children. Instead, he chose the smallest one. His father saw this and was very surprised, so he asked Kong Rong why he chose such a small pear.
孔融笑着回答說：“因為我還小，是以挑小梨就好，哥哥們比我大，應該吃更大的梨。弟弟們比我更小，我應該愛護他們，讓他們吃更大更甜的梨。”
Kong Rong smiled and replied, "Since I am young, a small pear is fine for me. My older brothers are bigger and should eat the bigger pears. My younger siblings are even smaller, so I should care for them and let them have the bigger and sweeter pears."
他的爸爸聽了非常高興，因為孔融懂得尊敬兄長，而且照顧弟弟妹妹。
His father was very pleased to hear this because Kong Rong knew how to respect his elder brothers and take care of his younger siblings.
孔融讓梨的故事被傳為佳話，至今還被很多人記住，提醒我們要做一個有禮貌和有愛心的人。
