It is understood that spinal and spinal cord diseases are common diseases in the neurosurgery department of primary hospitals, and neurospinal cord surgery is an important substy of neurosurgery. In order to promote neurospinal cord surgery technology in county-level primary hospitals across the country and better integrate with the development trend of international neurosurgery, the Neurosurgery Branch of the Chinese Medical Association launched the China Neurospinal 100 Counties Support and Promotion Plan in 2019.
According to the arrangement, the project selected about 50 well-known domestic neurospinal experts to help hundreds of county and municipal hospitals to carry out nerve spine work for a long time. The neurosurgery department of 10 county-level hospitals in Shandong Province was selected for the program, and Guo Hua, chief physician of the Department of Neurosurgery of Shandong Provincial Hospital, was appointed to support 4 of them.
