She is Guo Hua, director of the Hospital Infection Department of the Third People's Hospital of Chengdu.

Guo Hua said that when she was a doctor, her understanding of hospital sense only stayed on various forms. It was not until 2009, when I was transferred to the Hospital Sense Department, that I found that my understanding of this work was lacking.

The real hospital sense of work is closely related to the various departments of the hospital, and is also closely related to every patient who comes to the hospital, in the words of the industry, it is "on the pipe of the sky, down of the tube, the middle tube of air, the surrounding pipe of six walls."

Engaged in hospital sense work for 11 years, as an experienced hospital "military division", Guo Hua created a unique hospital infection management system, and also took the lead in carrying out the risk identification and management of hospital infections in the city. At the beginning of this year, in the face of the sudden outbreak of new crown pneumonia, out of professional acumen and sense of responsibility, Guo Hua led the department staff to devote himself to the layout and prevention and control work as early as January 16.

Speaking of those days, being able to sleep for a whole period of time made Guo Hua feel luxurious. Since January 18, she has simply moved into the office. She was preparing for prevention and control outside, and her son was preparing for the college entrance examination at home and was busy together. Chinese New Year's Eve night when the bells rang, she had just finished a prevention and control meeting and returned to the hospital.

In order to achieve the goal of "zero infection" of medical personnel in the process of fighting the epidemic, Guo Hua felt pressure. Often at 5 or 6 o'clock in the morning, as soon as she wakes up, she has entered a "fighting state", paying attention to the epidemic trend across the country for the first time and establishing a distribution map to analyze the different characteristics of the case, so as to establish risk stratification prevention and control measures in combination with local characteristics. Then, it is from daytime to late night: to the various departments to "check the leaks and fill in the gaps", to each point to "add bricks and tiles", to help the department "matchmaking", for the patient consultation support.

During the epidemic prevention and control period, Guo Hua took the lead in sorting out and formulating 19 new epidemic prevention regulations suitable for the characteristics of hospitals, the content of which was detailed to the use of protective equipment for various types of personnel in the hospital, patient protection isolation, family screening and monitoring and other aspects. A virus protection network covering the whole hospital has been formed.

In the early 30 days of the epidemic, Guo Hua was like a high-speed spinning top, always appearing on the front line of prevention and control that needed her at the first time. Under the high intensity of work, her average rest time is only about 4 hours a day, and it is her New Year's wish to get a good night's sleep. Today, although the epidemic has been effectively controlled, for Guo Hua, this string has been tightened.

Guo Hua said that tired is definitely very tired, but as a medical worker, it is her duty to contribute to the prevention and control of the epidemic in the city.
