In the latest news, JYP Entertainment announced that Twice's Jeongyeon will once again suspend activities due to his current mental health.
By posting a sad announcement at the Twice official fan café, JYP Entertainment informed fans of the star's current health, saying "Jeongyeon is currently experiencing panic and psychological anxiety."
JYP went on to say that while Jeongyeon had been following Twice's schedule since the last anxiety attack, all parties involved decided she needed a dedicated period of time to focus on recovery. According to the statement, Jeongyeon's opinions, professional medical advice, internal discussions within the company, and the feelings of Twice members were taken into account.
While Jeongyeon is advancing her schedule while taking restorative action, we make the health of the artist the most important issue. Therefore, after in-depth discussions internally, accompanied by professional medical measures, we decided that we needed to give Jeongyeon enough time to focus on her recovery and rest.

As a result, JYP Entertainment said Jeongyeon will suspend Twice's activities for some time to come, for an uncertain time. The company went on to vow that they would "provide Jeongyeon with the best program to give her enough time to recover.".
We implore you to provide care and support for Jeongyeon's full recovery.
Sadly, this isn't Jeongyeon's first shutdown in the past year. Just a week before Twice began promoting their second studio album Eyes Wide Open last October, JYP Entertainment announced that Jeongyeon would not be able to attend the campaign due to "psychological anxiety." The company went on to say that after discussions with her members, Jeongyeon would rest and recover indefinitely.
Jeongyeon spent a total of three months recuperating, making a surprise appearance at the 30th Seoul Song Awards in January this year, achieving her long-awaited return. There, Twice performed "I Can't Stop Me" for the first time as OT9, winning another major award to increase their award collection.
Over time, however, concerns about Jeongyeon's health have resurfaced among once's fans. In addition to battling anxiety, Jeongyeon also suffered physical injuries last year. In a live broadcast, she revealed that she was diagnosed with cervical disc herniation while preparing for "more & more" and secretly received hospital treatment before her comeback.
During the Alcohol-Free campaign in June, many feared that the injury might recur. Jeongyeon can be seen in the video of the show sobbing visibly, and she also skipped a live interview with the host of Popular Ballads, convincing fans that she was in great pain.
After such a long period of difficulties, fans sent their best wishes to Jeongyeon through social media and hoped that she would recover smoothly in the company of members and loved ones, no matter how long it took.
Earlier this year, Jeongyeon's sister (actress Kong Seung-yeon, real name Yu Seung-yeon) said she was sad to see her sister go through so much pain, but she always stood by her side strongly – and once agreed with that.
Recently, my sister was plagued by mental health, which was also very difficult for me... For a while, I let her know, 'It's okay, I'll always be strong with you'.
