In the breeding park of Shishi Development Zone in Tongxin County, Wuzhong City, Ningxia, more than 3,000 Dubo sheep and 10,000 mu of forage are an important part of the local grass and livestock integration industry.

Since 2019, Shishi Development Zone has relied on the "Minning Collaborative Grass and Livestock Integration" poverty alleviation project to create a poverty alleviation industry led by the village collective economy, the pallet of the leading industrial enterprise, and the participation of the local people in the mode of "party branch + leading enterprise + farmer". The development zone uses 13,000 mu of dry land in Mayuanta Village to plan and build an integrated industrial base for grass and livestock, and introduces Ningxia Tongchunyuan Agricultural Science and Technology Development Co., Ltd. to build a Dubo sheep breeding and breeding base to drive the local people out of poverty and become rich.

At present, the park has driven the surrounding cooperatives and villagers to breed more than 3,000 Dubo sheep.
"We plan to grow the breeding scale of Dubo sheep to 100,000 in three years." Yang Hui, secretary of the Party Working Committee of Shishi Development Zone, said that with the 10,000 mu of forage such as giant fungus grass and oat grass being planted, a high-standard modern agricultural industrial park integrating multi-functional functions such as fine breeding, large-scale breeding, disease prevention and control, forage distribution, and sales chain extension will be created in the future.
