Also known as the town. Male, born in 1904, from Kang, Southwest Jiangxi. In October 1926, he graduated from the 4th class of the Whampoa Military Academy and participated in the Northern Expedition. He once served as adjutant, section chief, deputy battalion commander, battalion commander and other positions in the General Headquarters. After the Outbreak of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, he was ordered to lead his troops to the front line of the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression and participate in the Battle of Songhu. In July 1938, he was appointed commander of the 18th Regiment of the 47th Division. In December of the following year, he was promoted to brigade commander. In May 1941, he was appointed deputy commander of the 190th Division of the 10th Army. In August of the same year, the Japanese army mobilized 160,000 troops to gather in Yueyang and prepare to launch the Second Battle of Changsha. In September, the Japanese launched an offensive, and the Second Battle of Changsha began. During the battle, Lai Chuanxiang was ordered to act as the commander of the 190th Division and lead the soldiers of the division to fight in bloody battles. On September 23, he led his troops to retake the northern highlands of Changsha. The next day, the Japanese launched a counterattack, and Lai Chuanxiang commanded his troops to kill the enemy bravely. During the battle, he was shot and killed, and was later promoted to lieutenant general.
