The sintering station where Xu Xiaobao is located is responsible for the maintenance and maintenance of the sintering equipment in front of the railway. Engaged in equipment maintenance and maintenance for decades, he has always been strict with himself, love the factory and dedicate himself.

In September 2015, the flexible transmission system of the main reducer of the rotary kiln chain grate machine of Linggang Second IronMaking Plant failed, and the bearing was broken and had to be replaced. Since there were no spare parts, after discussion, it was decided to disconnect the spindle between the reducer and the bearing housing, repair the bushing, and connect the spindle with an interference fit. Time is pressing, Xu Xiaobao led the team to repair. The 54-year-old wore flower glasses, took calipers, measured and polished over and over again, fought with his co-workers for 72 hours, his eyes were red, his voice was hoarse, he went back to the car to sleep when he was tired, and he only slept for more than 5 hours after 3 days. In the end, the success of one installation was achieved, the loss of the entire line was avoided for 15 days, and the comprehensive effect of the enterprise was more than 1.1 million yuan at one time.

The strength to let Xu Xiaobao stand up in a critical moment to believe in self-confidence also comes from his study of technology. "A skill in hand, go all over the world", Xu Xiaobao believes that innovation must rely on technical support. To this end, he led the staff of the sintering station to practice their skills diligently, completed more than 20 technological innovations, and created more than 20 million yuan. In May 2015, "Xu Xiaobao Labor Model Innovation Studio" was established, and he led more than 70 backbones of the studio to continue to support the innovation and effectiveness of equipment maintenance with nearly 5 million yuan of results per year. In 2017, the studio was rated as "Liaoning Provincial Model Worker Innovation Studio".

At work, Xu Xiaobao is the "main heart" of the sintering station; In life, he is also the "big housekeeper" of the whole station.
