According to Japanese media reports, Kazuhiko Kato, a well-known manga artist who created works such as the manga "Lupin III", died of pneumonia on April 11, 2019 at the age of 81.
Kazuhiko Kato was born in 1937, debuted in the manga magazine Futabasha in 1965, and began serializing Lupin III in Action Futaba in August 1967. Due to the extreme popularity of "Lupin III", the same work was animated on TV in 1971, and since then it has also launched a series of new works. The latest series of theatrical animation series, The Lie of Lupin III, will be released in Japan in May.
