This afternoon, the Seventh General Assembly of Shanghai Dancers Association was held in the Shanghai Literary and Art Hall. The conference elected 56 new directors of the Shanghai Dance Association, including 18 executive directors. Xin Lili was elected as the seventh chairman of the Shanghai Dancers Association, and Zhu Jiejing, Li Ying, Yang Xinhua, Wu Jie, Wu Husheng, Zhang Yuzhao, Chen Feihua, Chen Jianian, Huang Doudou, Dong Lin, etc. were elected as vice chairmen (in alphabetical order). Shu Qiao, Lin Yangyang, Ling Guiming and Chen Baihua were hired as consultants.
The conference deliberated and adopted the "Work Report of the Seventh Member Congress of Shanghai Dancers Association" made by Xin Lili, the sixth chairman of the Shanghai Dancers Association, which summarized the main work of the past five years from four aspects, and put forward four references for the work concept of the next five years in combination with the actual work. The conference also deliberated and adopted the Constitution of Shanghai Dancers Association (Draft).

The team of Shanghai Dancers Association continues to grow, and the total number of members has developed from 1022 in 2014 to 1286 in 2019, an increase of 25%, and more than 90% are young dancers after 80, and more than 30% are "two new" groups, showing a trend of radiation from expert associations to dancers. According to incomplete statistics, since 2014, hundreds of members have won awards (including performances, choreographers, teaching and dance reviews) in various national and provincial awards and above. The association has also won the Outstanding Organization Award for Professional and Group Cultural Activities such as the "Lotus Award", "Top Dancers Entering the Campus", "Shanghai Citizens' Cultural Festival" of the China Dance Association, and the 2018 Excellent Work Project Award of the Shanghai Municipal Federation of Literary and Art Circles.
