Shangshu Street, from Hutong Street in the east to Xiaowen Street in the west (now the section from Xiaowen Street to Wenchang Street is changed to Shangshu Lane), belongs to the historical and cultural block of Yongshou Street, and the street is named after the old Shangshudi. Shangshu Di (尚書第), a jinshi of the second year of Ming Chenghua (l466), lived in the taibao and official Shangshu Tu Yi; Qing, was a 15th year of Shunzhi and a 42nd year of Kangxi Soldier Shangshu Tu Chu Zhongfu. The old houses are: No. 51 Shangshu Street is the former residence of Tu Yi (Shangshu Di) (municipal Wenbao Point), No. 53 Shangshu Street is Wanshi Beidi (municipal Wenbao Point), No. 44 Shangshu Street Shi's Old House, No. 28 Shangshu Street (Republic of China), No. 36 Shang Shu Street (Qing), No. 42 Shang Shu Street (Qing), No. 49 Shangshu Street Zhang Zhai (Qing), as well as Shangshu Lane No. 7 and 8 Residences (Qing), Shangshu Lane No. 14, No. 16 Residences (Qing), No. 20 Shang Shu Lane (Qing) and so on. The former residence of Tu Yi and wanshi beidi in Shangshu Street have been sealed up due to demolition and cannot be entered.

No. 51 Shangshu Street is the former residence of Tu Yi (Shangshu Di) (municipal Wen Bao Point) - Tu Yi (1440-1512), a jinshi in the second year of Ming Chenghua (l466), who successively served as the superintendent of Yushi, the Right Yushi, the Right Du Yushi, and the Official's Shangshu; No. 53 Shangshu Street is Wanshi Beidi (Municipal Wenbao Point) - built during the Qing Kangxi Period, by Wan Chengxun, the son of Wan Yan, and Wan Yan was the great-grandson of Wan Bangfu, the master of Baiyunzhuang, the holy land of the Zhejiang Eastern School, and the nephew of Wan Sitong.

The Shi's Old House at No. 44 Shangshu Street (the first batch of historical buildings in Ningbo) was built during the Kangxi Dynasty of the Qing Dynasty, and the main building sits north and faces south, and is composed of a gate, a second gate, a main house, a box room, and a front and back yard. It was taken in 2015 and has now been demolished.
