From white-collar workers to policewomen Daughters fulfill the criminal police father's last wishes: ten years, everything is fine, do not worry about it

author:Bright Net

"Ten years have passed, and my father always said that when he retires, he will take his mother on a trip, and he will help me with my children, although these can't be done, but I want to tell him that we are all fine now, and we don't have to worry about it." Cai Sixian, a police officer from the grassroots guidance section of the public security detachment of the Pudong Public Security Bureau, had just returned from a tomb sweep and wrote these words to her father at her desk.

Cai Sixian's father, Cai Liqun, served as the head of the criminal investigation detachment of the Pudong Branch of the Shanghai Municipal Public Security Bureau. In June 2008, he was hospitalized for lung cancer and died on March 1, 2009 at the age of 55 after fighting the disease for nine months.

Heritage: from a white-collar worker in a foreign company to a female policewoman

In the ten years since Cai Liqun's death, Cai Sixian has changed from a white-collar worker in a foreign company to a female policewoman, from a little girl to a mother, completing several changes in her life.

Busy to "take care of home", can not accompany the family, do not have time to travel... Father's busyness, Cai Sixian all looked in her eyes. From childhood to adulthood, whether it is a broken light bulb at home, or a blocked sewer pipe, it is the mother who finds a way to solve it, if she really can't figure it out, it is not the father who is looking for it, but a friend and relative or a community property. "This kind of thing never looks for him, and I can't think of looking for him." Because she felt that being a policeman was too hard since she was a child, and she was surrounded by police, Cai Sixian, who wanted to see the outside world, chose a job in a foreign company as soon as she graduated from college. She said she never wanted to be a police officer at that time.

Because he knows the hardships and difficulties of this industry, even if Cai Liqun hopes that his daughter can be like him, wear this police uniform, punish evil and promote good, but he has never forced her. It was not until the end of his death in the hospital bed that Cai Liqun said his last wish. Since then, Cai Sixian has become a female police officer in the public security detachment of the Pudong Public Security Bureau. In front of the bronze statue of Cai Liqun in the square of the Pudong Public Security Bureau, she also completed her oath of joining the party.

Understanding: There are never any good years, but someone carries the weight for you

In Cai Sixian's impression, whether in life or work, her father is a serious, introverted, and perfect person. Usually, she rarely talks about work in front of her family, and many of her father's heroic arrests of suspects are still known to Cai Sixian from her father's colleagues. When she was a child, she asked her father why she didn't tell her and her mother, and she was always taken lightly by her father: "This is nothing, so that you don't have to worry." ”

In the eyes of colleagues, Cai Liqun is a person with great affinity and no shelf at all. Cai Sixian told reporters that in the past ten years, she has always had such a thought: I see this side of my father, and the side that his friends and colleagues see, together is the complete him.

At present, Cai Sixian is a police officer in the grass-roots guidance section of the public security detachment of the Pudong Public Security Bureau, who is responsible for community policing on a daily basis and guides the prevention of various preventable cases. Cai Sixian and her father, one is responsible for prevention, and the other is responsible for attacking. Although the police departments are different, they all have the same goal and contribute to the construction of safety in Shanghai.

Recalling that the family had only eaten Chinese New Year's Eve meal together twice, Cai Sixian said that one time was when her father was sick with hepatitis A and rested at home in 1988, and the other time was when he was finally in his hospital bed. She confessed that when she was a child, she was always envious of other people's children, and she could get together happily in the New Year. And her and her mother's years were only on the day when her father could find time to accompany them to dinner.

When she joined the police, she gradually did not eat Chinese New Year's Eve meal with her family for several years, just like her father did. She found herself seeming to have a wonderful connection with her father, and she was full of deep understanding of him. For people like them who take on special tasks, having time to be with their families is the best interpretation of Chinese New Year's Eve meal.

Father's love for work is not only reflected in the fact that after illness, he still requires the unit to send work information every day, not only in a critical moment, heroic and fearless, but also at any case scene, he can always call out the name of every investigator present, and often inquire and care about the work and life of the police.

"Bow down, die and then die", if these eight words are used to describe Cai Liqun's life, it is not a modification, just a portrayal.
