On the afternoon of August 31, the official handover work meeting of jiangnan new town roads and other municipal facilities and green axis garden square was held in the management committee of Jiaying New District, marking the full completion of the construction project of jiangnan new city road and underground pipe corridor.

The reporter learned from the meeting that the roads handed over this time include 7 main roads, 10 secondary roads, 13 branch roads, and the road construction content includes asphalt pavement, non-motorized roads, sidewalks, flat side stones, tree ponds, and barrier-free facilities. Among them, the area of motorized roads is about 580,000 square meters, the area of non-motorized roads is about 80,000 square meters, and the area of sidewalks is about 200,000 square meters; the total area of road greening and green axis greening transferred is about 250,000 square meters.

Municipal infrastructure construction projects such as roads and underground comprehensive pipe corridors in Jiangnan New Town are key people's livelihood projects in Meizhou, and they are built in the mode of "government purchase of services".

The project officially started construction in June 2016, so far, 30 roads, 9 underground comprehensive pipe corridors have been fully completed, 30 roads with a total length of 29.8 kilometers, 1 green axis project has completed the completion acceptance, 9 pipe corridors have a total length of 16.2 kilometers, and the mechanical and electrical installation in the corridor is underway, and it is expected to be completed by the end of September.
