On the morning of March 31, the groundbreaking ceremony of the Zhonghuan Plaza project was held in Jiangnan New Town, Jiaying New District, Meizhou, marking that the project entered the substantive construction stage. Zhong You, deputy secretary general of Meizhou Municipal Government, Li Siping, secretary of the Party Working Committee and director of the Management Committee of Jiaying New District, Wu Tehong, deputy secretary of the party group and deputy director of the Municipal Development and Reform Bureau, Zeng Yuanhuang, second-level researcher of the Municipal Bureau of Commerce, and relevant departments of Meijiang District attended the ceremony.
It is understood that Meizhou Chuanxin Investment Co., Ltd. acquired the land for this project in a public auction on September 1 last year, and intends to invest 500 million yuan to build Zhonghuan Plaza (Chuanhai Headquarters), with a total construction area of about 75,000 square meters, including a new five-star office building and 2 four-star hotel apartments.
Based on the high-end positioning of the central business district of Jiangnan New Town, the project will comprehensively consider the urban interface and give play to the factors such as the green axis garden square in the design stage, and will create a modern and ecological office industrial park, with five-star office buildings and four-star apartments at the headquarters as the main functions, attracting hometown enterprises and innovative and entrepreneurial talents.
"We are Meizhou people, have a deep affection for our hometown, and have always been proud to participate in the construction of our hometown and return to our hometown." Xie Shengquan, general manager of Shenzhen Chuanhai Investment Company, said. In recent years, Xie Yongquan and Xie Shengquan, heads of Shenzhen Chuanhai Investment Company, have donated more than 60 million yuan to Meizhou education, poverty alleviation, urban construction, and rural revitalization.
Seeing the rapid development of the business environment in their hometown and the attitude of government departments at all levels to respect business and enterprises, Xie Yongquan and Xie Shengquan decided to actively respond to the call to set up a headquarters group company in Meizhou, based on the Meizhou market, to expand the real estate construction business in the Greater Bay Area. "We plan to reach more than 2 billion yuan in the next 5-10 years, the total sales of meizhou enterprises will reach more than 2 billion yuan, the total sales will reach more than 10 billion yuan, the employment will increase by about 6,000 jobs, and the total tax revenue of Meizhou will reach more than 1 billion yuan, contributing our strength to the development of Meizhou."
