The morning run of dawn pulled a group of us out of the warm bed, the cold of winter made us a little lazy, but it could not stop us from running, I jogged on the road of the school to feel the changes in the north country, and also observed the campus that had just officially entered the winter.
Although it is just winter, but the winter in the north has already quietly arrived, the fallen leaves everywhere have left frost footprints, early morning and evening, the campus is filled with cold fog, pedestrians on the road are hurrying, exhaled heat is also in the air to form a clump of cream that cannot be dissolved. All of this heralds the arrival of winter.
Strolling around the campus, although everywhere is full of winter cold, but also everywhere contains the vitality of spring, the squirrel jumping in the branches of the forest is the most small animal I have seen in school, these spiritual animals seem to be able to see our kindness, they are not afraid of living people, but they will not be intimate with you, they will always keep a proper distance from you, maintain a proper trust. The lotus leaves in Qingyang Lake have all withered, and now only a few dead branches are exposed on the surface of the water, but the withering on the surface cannot hide the deep vitality, under the water that we can't see, the lotus seeds are quietly germinating, the lotus stems are also silently budding, and new vitality is quietly being nurtured.
The winter here is slightly different from the winter in my hometown, and the winter here is colder and more northern, which makes me look forward to the frozen northern scenery: the sky is full of snow, and the silver is wrapped. The vastness and ruggedness of the northern country are vividly displayed, and at the same time, under the thick snow, there are endless vitality, and there are traces of small animals everywhere, and there is new vitality everywhere.
In my hometown, the winter should still be the autumn when the leaves are quietly yellowing, and here has already entered the cold winter, and the difference in climate makes me think of my hometown and miss my relatives at home. Wanderers travel far, relatives miss each other, care about each other, "think of sitting at home late at night, but also talk about distant people" Maybe we can't say that layer of thoughts face to face, but we must all be deeply concerned about each other, just like this winter, wordless and full of spring new life.
This is the first festival of winter and the beginning of the last season in the cycle of four seasons. After walking through the rebirth of spring, the prosperity of summer, and the harvest of autumn, we must always see the end of winter. But the curtain is not falling and not rising, it is waiting for a new episode. If spring is sowing, summer is growth, and autumn is harvest, then winter is thinking about the past and looking forward to the future. The silent winter is the rest and recuperation after the three seasons of spring, summer and autumn, and the nurturing of the vitality of the next three seasons, and winter is not only an end, but also the starting point of a new life.
