Mr. Gu Jiegang is a well-known historian and folklorist in modern China, and the first volunteer donor of the remains of the university. After his death on December 25, 1980, the Anatomy Department followed the donor's own wishes and turned Mr. Gu's will into a skeleton for future generations to see and remember.
President Wang Chen pointed out in his speech that anatomy is the most important node in medicine, which means that medical students have begun to truly understand the human body in depth, and thus develop their own understanding of human life. In the history of Concord, Mr. Buda Sheng, an anatomist and paleoanthropologist, identified and named the fossil "Peking Man", which is also an important node in the history of human evolution. As students of the "4+4" clinical pilot class, they should recognize the similarities and differences between the animal organism and the human organism, pay special attention to the difference between normal and abnormal human bodies, and understand the texture of the human body from anatomical operations; more importantly, on the basis of learning the human anatomy, feel the most selfless and noble dedication of learning the wordless teacher.
