Yiyang character: Winner of the first national Mao Dun Literature Award - Mo Yingfeng

Mo Yingfeng (1938-1989) is a famous contemporary writer. People from Taojiang, Yiyang, Hunan. In 1956, he entered the Music Department of Hubei Academy of Arts, joined the army in 1961, and engaged in music and script writing in the Guangzhou Military Region Air Force Cultural and Labor Troupe. In 1970, he was transferred from the army to work in the Mass Literature and Art Studio in Changsha, Hunan Province, and served as the leader of the literary creation team. In 1978, he was transferred to Hunan Xiaoxiang Film Studio as a screenwriter. Since 1972, he has been writing literature, and his main works include long novels such as "Little Soldiers Break into the Mountains", "Wind", "General Yin", "Beauty God" and other novels, the series of novels "Confused Outer Biography" and the short story collection "The Mystery of The Mountain"; among them, "General Yin" is his representative work and won the first Mao Dun Literature Award. After 1984, he devoted himself to exploring the mysteries of "human nature", and his main works include "Taoyuan Dream", the short story "The Secret Place of the Mountain High Forest", "The Hunchback Bamboo Town", "The Miracle of the Dead River", "The Black Hole", "The Siege" and so on. "General Yin" won the first National Mao Dun Literature Award. He died young in February 1989. He once served as the vice chairman of the Hunan Provincial Federation of Literature and Literature, the vice chairman of the Provincial Writers Association, and the director of the China Writers Association.
