The first council of the joint meeting on the coordinated development of development zones Li Xiaodong was elected as the chairman of the council

On November 2, the first council of the Joint Conference on the Coordinated Development of Development Zones in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region was held in Hohhot Economic and Technological Development Zone in the form of a video conference, and Bayannaoer Economic and Technological Development Zone and Hulunbuir Economic and Technological Development Zone set up sub-venues.

Li Xiaodong, secretary of the party working committee of the Hohhot Economic and Technological Development Zone, Wang Shihua, deputy secretary of the party working committee and director of the management committee of the Bayannaoer Economic and Technological Development Zone, and Kong Xiangyong, deputy director of the management committee of the Hulunbuir Economic and Technological Development Zone, attended the meeting and made speeches.

Ji Xiaojun, secretary general of the Inner Mongolia Development Zone Association, presided over the meeting.

The meeting read out the "Agreement of the Joint Conference on the Coordinated Development of development zones in inner Mongolia Autonomous Region", and the governing units of the joint conference on coordinated development signed the agreement on the spot to jointly seek the development strategy of the development zone, jointly build the development platform of the development zone, create a new situation in the development of the development zone, and share the new achievements of the development of the development zone.

The meeting elected Li Xiaodong as the president of the first council of the joint meeting on the coordinated development of the inner mongolia autonomous region development zone, and elected Han Jian, a deputy department-level cadre of the development zone, as the secretary general of the first council of the joint meeting.

At the meeting, Yun Yao, a special expert of the "think tank" of the Inner Mongolia Development Zone Association, made a special report on the research work around the content of the preliminary research.

Li Xiaodong pointed out that the establishment of the joint meeting mechanism is of great significance for further strengthening information communication between each other, condensing wisdom and strength, and realizing work linkage, resource integration, and complementary advantages. Li Xiaodong proposed that the three state-level economic development zones should make joint efforts in five aspects in the future, such as promoting industrial pragmatic cooperation, strengthening "double strokes and double introduction" cooperation, deeply excavating the endogenous power of the large cycle in the region, promoting the normalization of cooperation and co-construction, and jointly promoting carbon peak carbon neutrality. Li Xiaodong said that through multi-faceted pragmatic cooperation, with the help of each other's development advantages and achievements, the three places should accelerate the interconnection between the three places, jointly promote the high-quality economic and social development of the three places, and strive to achieve a win-win situation of cooperation; they should comprehensively summarize the main purpose of this meeting and make detailed planning and deployment of the next step; they should further do a good job in research and research, and promote the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region to issue and implement the "Opinions on Promoting innovation and Upgrading of State-level Economic and Technological Development Zones to Create a New Highland of Reform and Opening Up" (Guo Fa [2019] No. 11) provides strong opinions and suggestions for promoting the healthy development of development zones (industrial parks) in the autonomous region.

Kong Xiangyong pointed out that in the future work, we will do a good job in accordance with the requirements of the joint meeting mechanism, fulfill the responsibilities and obligations determined by the joint meeting agreement, and make due contributions to the high-quality development of the local economy.

Wang Shihua pointed out that taking the joint conference on coordinated development as an opportunity and changing the mode of development as the main line in the new period, implementing the national development strategy, adhering to local conditions, highlighting characteristics, dislocation development and coordinated development, and jointly stepping onto a new, high-level and high-standard stage.

Through this meeting, the "Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Development Zone Joint Conference Working Mechanism" was established, and the three state-level economic development zones as the initiating units will drive the development zones in the whole region to conspire, co-build, co-create and share, further expand the radius of influence, and lead the coordinated development of development zones in northern China.
