On April 26, singer Koji Wada officially held a farewell ceremony for him, and under the frame of Uncle Hikari's photo are flowers in the shape of butterflies, reminiscent of the classic song "butter-fly" from his lifetime.

Koji Wada was diagnosed with throat cancer in 2003 and was told that he had a survival rate of 40% after five years, and announced his retirement in April of the same year after attending a commemorative concert in the Digimon series. In 2005, after receiving treatment, Koji Wada made a comeback and sang the theme song of the anime Digimon Savers in November 2006. It ceased to be active in October 2011 due to a recurrence of cancer. After a long battle with the disease, he made a brief comeback on October 3, 2013, so he was called "the anime singer of the undead butterfly".
At the farewell ceremony, many people came to say goodbye to Uncle Guang, and there were a large number of Digimon toys around the scene, hoping that Uncle Guang would go all the way.
