Koji Wada was born on January 29, 1974 in Fukuchiyama City, Kyoto Province, and at the age of 19 he went to Tokyo alone to pursue his musical dreams. At first he didn't have a job, he stayed in a capsule hotel, and worked everywhere to make ends meet. At that time, in order to sell himself, he distributed his music CDs to various music companies and producers, but they were all in the sea.
It wasn't until 1998 that fate finally took a turn for the worse when the animation superintendent called him and asked him to make the kind of music that "shows the feeling of meeting and meeting digimon again." So the beat-fly song that came later was born. The CD was recorded in January of the following year, released in April, and was sung as the first op of Digimon, and koji Wada has truly embarked on the road to music ever since.
But fate played a joke on him, and in 2003, he announced that he had retired from illness. In the news later, we learned that the reason for the retreat was because of throat cancer. What a cruel fate it is for a singer to be unable to make a sound in his own glory. In 2006, he sang the OP of Digimon Part V to the audience, but the voice was no longer the same as it was then.
