On 4 December, Tang Anying, president of the Sichuan Patriotic Association for the Promotion of supporting the armed forces, held a ceremony to donate a series of red books to the Luzhou City National Defense Education Comprehensive Base. Zheng Daoguang, former deputy director of the Political Department of the Chengdu Military Region, Xiao Minghui and Li Ming, former deputy political commissars of the Provincial Military Region, attended the donation ceremony and made speeches, and leaders of relevant provincial and municipal departments, some primary and secondary school students, as well as teachers and staff of the base attended the donation ceremony.

This series of books is edited by Tang Anying, president of the Sichuan Patriotic Support Association. Wang Dingguo, a hundred-year-old Veteran of the Red Army, wrote a preface to the series of books. Wang Dingguo's old Red Army, Cao Zhibin, secretary of proletarian revolutionaries of the older generation, and more than a dozen provincial-level military and local leading cadres, including Duan Luding, Zhou Guangrong, Zheng Daoguang, Xiao Minghui, and Li Ming, served as general advisers. The book "National Pioneers" contains a total of 200 heroic deeds dedicated to the cause of the liberation of the Chinese nation. The book comprehensively carries forward the heroic character, strives to make heroic stories become "national memory", let the heroic spirit nourish the national soul, and let the heroic light illuminate the way forward; the book "Long March - Popular Sichuan" comprehensively shows the major battle stories and red stories of the Red Army's Long March in Sichuan, and is a good teaching material for practicing President Xi Jinping's "telling the story of the party and telling the story of the Red Army". The book "The Red Army -- The Beacon Years of Advancing into Sichuan" comprehensively expounds the revolutionary heroism spirit of the Red Army that is not afraid of hardship and death, and is called a classic by relevant scholars; there is also the book "Faith", which comprehensively reflects the major events that occurred along the way of the Red Army's Long March from Yudu, Jiangxi, with fierce and earth-shaking ambition, and vividly bloomed the genetic bloodline of our party and our army; the book "The Red Corner of Shaanxi and Gansu" is a book. The magnificent and little-known historical relics of Xi Zhongxun and others who expanded the red and established the base area were introduced with rich content, which had a positive impact on carrying forward the spirit of the Red Army and inheriting the red gene at a higher starting point. In addition, 200 TV CDs such as "Bright Sword", "Ode to Yan'an" and "Long March" were also donated to the base. These red readings and CD-ROMs will play a positive role in casting the soul of the "three views", realizing their dreams and colorful lives, and striving to become models of the times for the primary and secondary school students who participate in the training here every year.

At the donation ceremony, Generals Zheng Daoguang, Xiao Minghui, Li Ming, and other generals gave high praise to Chairman Tang Anying for being kind to the military camp, caring for national defense, supporting the army with sincerity, and actively inheriting the red gene, and using the power of example to stimulate the positive energy of strengthening the army and rejuvenating the army.

In his speech, Tang Anying said: Implement the spirit of the instructions of the chairman of the internship on carrying forward the glorious traditions and fine work styles and passing on the red gene from generation to generation, fully display the magnificent and arduous history of revolutionary struggle in which the party led the people's army, guide the cadres and masses, especially the vast number of young people, to profoundly understand that the red regime was not easy to come by, the new China was not easy to come by, and socialism with Chinese characteristics was not easy to come by, strengthen self-confidence in the road, theory, system, and culture, and keep firmly in mind the party's original intention and mission, nature, and purpose. To strive to take the long march in the new era well is to have concrete actions. This series of books compiled by our Association for the Promotion of Military Support is a concrete measure to implement this series of major instructions of the Chairman of the Internship. We will never forget the original heart of the red, and continue to make new and greater contributions to continue to sing the main melody and carry forward the positive energy of loving the party and the country and the army!
