On the eve of "August 1", Tang Anying, president of the Sichuan Patriotic Support army promotion association, and other editors of the book "National Heroes" held the first donation reading ceremony in Chengdu, and Chengdu Arts Vocational University accepted the first batch of donations (the rest of the colleges and middle schools that have determined the donation will also be donated in place). Duan Luding, former deputy political commissar of the Chengdu Military Region, Zheng Daoguang, former deputy director of the Political Department of the Chengdu Military Region, and Xiao Minghui, former deputy political commissar of the Provincial Military Region, attended the inauguration ceremony and made speeches.
The book was prefaced by the 106-year-old Wang Dingguo and the old Red Army, and more than a dozen veteran military and local chiefs and leaders served as general advisers. A total of 200 national heroes are included in the glorious deeds of heroic dedication, the lofty spirit of lifelong struggle, and the good family style of the descendants of heroes and martyrs. Duan Luding pointed out at the donation ceremony that in the long river of years, countless heroes have gone forward and sacrificed heroically to strive for national independence, realize national prosperity and strength, and promote world peace. Tang Anying took the initiative to donate funds to edit the book "National Pioneers" and donated it to the relevant colleges and universities and primary and secondary schools in the province for teachers and students to study, so as to inherit the will of the martyrs and carry forward the spirit of the martyrs, which fully reflects her red heritage and original feelings of respecting heroes, carrying forward heroes, caring for heroes, and defending heroes. Zheng Daoguang and Xiao Minghui also delivered speeches at the donation ceremony, pointing out that "a promising nation cannot do without heroes, and a promising country cannot do without pioneers", and Tang Anying's action is undoubtedly a major measure to implement Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics in the New Era from a high position. It is worth people's study and practice; in the preface, Wang Dingguo's old Red Army praised Tang Anying for taking the initiative to fund the compilation and printing of this book.
At the donation ceremony, Tang Anying also emotionally said that she will not forget her original intention, bravely undertake the mission, and is determined to inherit the red gene under the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, and constantly compile and print more red books and reading materials to highlight the national hero.
