Chen Pi Network Xiaobian noted that Fengrun Micro Control is one of the few enterprises in Hainan Province engaged in the research and development of embedded computer technology for the Internet of Things.

PI: How long has your company been established?

Sun: Founded in 2014.

Pi: What are the main business projects?

Sun: A microcontroller related to the Internet of Things.

Pi: What about its (microcontroller) application scenarios?

Sun: Maybe everyone doesn't know much about microcontrollers and feels very strange. The single-chip microcomputer is a small "computer" specially used in related machines such as home intelligence, industrial control, Internet agriculture, and smart city. We're all familiar with PCs, because (almost) everyone has one. But in the era of the Internet of Things, we have a new demand for computers, that is, embedded computers, every item must have a computer, this item to achieve "Internet of Everything", you need to use the Internet of Things computer, is the html5 web-based embedded microcontroller we are now developing, it is also similar to the PC (computer), but it can be connected with the "thing", pc is human, html5 web microcontroller embedded in the control device, (microcontroller is) such a computer, So everyone is strangers.

Pi: Can you give us an example, where is the microcontroller application?

Sun: For example, the password safe, now there are a lot of fingerprint password locks embedded in a micro computer in it, and now there are password locks that can be opened by scanning the two-dimensional code with the mobile phone, and here we can use our microcontroller; there are also washing machines, traditional washing machines are controlled with buttons, if you use our microcontroller, you can control it thousands of miles away, even windows, doors, and water pumps in IoT agriculture, the collection of temperature and humidity.

Skin: That is to say, the microcontroller wants to achieve a "Internet of Everything" effect.

Sun: As a development direction of the new era, the Internet of Things ranked first in the 2016-2046 Technology Trend Report in the United States, so far, there are 100 billion items that need to be connected to the Internet, so what is needed is the Internet of Things computer, which is the network microcontroller we just talked about.

Pi: So what level of technology has it reached?

Sun: Now we have done a lot of application scenarios, including we have cooperated with schools in Shenzhen for nearly a year, mainly installing our IoT module in their shields, which has enabled their shields to be networked across regions in all aspects.

Pi: What about your company's current market?

Sun: The market is not bad, the first two years are mainly technology research and development, are in the loss, but since this year, so far the cumulative turnover reached 10 million yuan, recently did two projects, it is estimated that this year's turnover can reach 12 million yuan.

Pi: As far as I know, you just won the 2018 Hainan Provincial Chuangsai Haikou City Trial Competition.

Sun: We were also very surprised to win the award, there are very few enterprises engaged in our industry in Hainan, almost none, and many people have not been exposed to this single-chip microcomputer and do not understand. However, many judges and experts recognize our technology, indicating that they understand this microcontroller and see its prospects, so I am very pleased that we have such a good team of experts in Hainan and good leaders to support our project.

Pi: I would also like to thank the organizing committee of the competition, so what was your original intention to participate in the competition?

Sun: On the one hand, we participate in this competition to popularize everyone's understanding of microcontrollers, because for many people, they understand PC computers, but for this kind of embedded computer, they know less, so here we want to popularize how the microcontroller in the era of the Internet of Things is, on the other hand, we also communicate with our peers, because the participants in the competition are the more excellent high-tech enterprises in the province, so there is a lot of communication with these technology companies, and you can learn good management methods and good technologies from them More importantly, many of their companies are using microcontrollers for development, which can bring us business opportunities, may use our microcontrollers, they can use our microcontrollers, their development efficiency and applications may become simpler.

Pi: Participating in this competition at the same time, through media reports, can increase the exposure rate of enterprises, after all, some companies specializing in technology research and development are difficult to be known to the outside world. So this is a good platform, a platform for exchanges and cooperation, a platform for the public to know you.

SUN: Yes.

Pi: At present, the competition in Haikou has ended, what are your company's plans for the future?

Sun: At present, our company mainly takes the road of production, education and research, we have established school-enterprise cooperation with Hainan University, Hainan Software College, Hainan Technician College and many other universities, their experts and professors have recognized our technology, and now 5 training bases have been set up, and the Internet of Things training center in the south has been set up in Guangdong; this year we have undertaken the first phase of the Internet of Things training for backbone teachers sponsored by the Provincial Department of Education, and the third phase of the national training, which are undertaken by our company. In the future, we want to teach teachers first and then students through industry-university-research cooperation, and then they will bring our technology into the application of all walks of life after they go out of society.

Pi: I will participate in the provincial competition later, are you confident in the provincial competition?

Sun: I'm still more confident, like I just said, because there are so many knowledgeable experts. Originally, we had the mentality of trying it out, but now it seems that I am still more confident in the technical vision of the expert group.

PI: What was your original intention in starting the company?

Sun: Ibm's earliest dream was to have everyone in every household have a computer, and at that time we thought it was just a dream. Then in the era of the Internet of Things, making every item have a computer will also be a dream that we will realize in the future, so I want to make a computer for every item, which is my real idea.

Pi: In the context of the construction of the free trade zone (port) in Hainan, what are the opportunities and challenges for high-tech industries like yours?

Sun: The construction of the free trade zone (port) first needs talents. In this, our Demand for Internet of Things talents is very large, the country has a large gap in the training of Internet of Things talents, our company is now engaged in industry-university-research cooperation, the goal is to cultivate a large number of Internet of Things talents, to serve the construction of Hainan's free trade zone (port).
