Anhui ushered in the peak of express delivery "double 11" single-day business volume or more than 40 million pieces in advance

  The reporter learned from the Provincial Postal Administration on November 6 that due to the early impact of e-commerce promotions, the peak season of this year's express delivery business has been extended, from the beginning of November to next year's New Year's Day, until before the Spring Festival, lasting more than 90 days, during which there will be a number of business volume peaks. Our province is expected to usher in the peak of daily processing volume on November 13, and the volume of received and invested business will exceed 40 million pieces, an increase of about 40% over the same period last year, 1.5 times to 2 times the daily processing volume.

  The Provincial Postal Administration deploys the service guarantee for the peak season of the province's express delivery business to ensure that the whole network is not paralyzed, and important nodes are not exploded, so as to achieve smooth, safe and stable operation of the whole network. The express delivery enterprises pre-reserve personnel to enrich the front-line operations, to ensure the orderly sorting and timely delivery of express mail, the province increased the number of personnel by about 17,000 people; expanded the storage room, increased the dispatch of direct network vehicles, and the use of social logistics vehicles to ensure the timely evacuation of express mail; the outlets rent temporary venues to ensure processing capacity, the province increased the area of the processing site by more than 10%, increased the vehicle by nearly 40%.

  During the peak season, the Provincial Postal Administration will conduct real-time dynamic supervision of each express delivery distribution center through the video surveillance system of the postal industry safety supervision in the province, and actively promote the implementation of various measures to protect the rights and interests of couriers, focusing on the implementation of the adjustment of the 1 cent payment fee, the reduction of service fines in place, and the opening of courier complaint defense channels. During the "Double 11" period, the Provincial Postal Industry Consumer Complaint Acceptance Center increased the staff and answering line, and the "12305" appeal hotline implemented normal manual operation on weekends and holidays to deal with the problems reported by users in a timely manner.

  It is reported that in the first three quarters, the province's express delivery business volume has accumulated 2.181 billion pieces, an increase of 47.94% year-on-year (8th in the country, 1st in the Yangtze River Delta); express delivery business revenue was 15.381 billion yuan, an increase of 27.12% year-on-year (16th in the country, 1st in the Yangtze River Delta). It is estimated that by 2022, the express delivery business volume in our province will exceed that of Shanghai.
