Released the artificial intelligence design platform Dramatic Reality, "Aijia Life" to use AI to improve the efficiency of interior design

36Kr learned that on September 26, 2019, Aijia Life released its self-developed artificial intelligence design platform dramatic reality (referred to as dr), which not only improves the efficiency of interior design, but also solves the copyright and revenue problems faced by designers due to plagiarism for a long time.

36Kr has reported in detail on Aijia Life, which was established in early 2015 to provide owners with full-process decoration services including hard and soft decoration design, construction, acceptance and maintenance, as well as the procurement and distribution of furniture, electrical appliances, artworks and home decorations. The company had invested a $1 billion Series B financing in August 2018 from Tiantu Capital, with a post-investment valuation of more than US$1 billion.

The business process of the home improvement industry mainly includes traffic acquisition, design transfer, and delivery. Aijia Life adopts the b2B2c model, through the integration of real estate, manufacturers (furniture), design ends, construction parties (decoration companies) four ends of the resources, to build a complete home improvement ecosystem, the company Aijia life has more than 30,000 home users need to be renovated.

In addition, the company has improved the delivery efficiency through the online management of construction, but the design order has always been a pain point for the company, and it is also a bottleneck in the development of the industry. Because the traditional design scheme requires the designer to personally go to the site to measure, it usually takes 1-2 weeks to come up with a set of plans, and each new set of schemes has to go through multiple repetitive design work, followed by repeated modifications according to user needs, and finally the designer is also responsible for the supervision of the construction process.

Pan Dingguo, CEO of Aijia Life, said that the company realized that the design tool problem was an industry bottleneck 3 years ago, because the largest decoration company can only serve 10-20 families per designer per year on average.

After 3 years of research and development, the company will be open to designers this time. On the platform, designers can draw floor plans in a short period of time, and through small videos, VR, AR experiences, and the assistance of artificial intelligence, the drawing time can be shortened from 2 days to 1 hour of traditional labor. Designers in the dr style rendering at the same time, the platform will be building materials materials, furniture customization, soft decorations and other information synchronization to the Aijia life platform supply chain system, users can choose their favorite modules for splicing, if the user to replace some of the design elements in the home, it is also very intuitive to preview the effect after delivery.

On the issue of software charges, Aijia Life gives "dr use is completely free". After the user selects the plan, the platform will calculate the copyright fee according to a certain proportion of the amount of the scheme selected by the owner, and every time the owner chooses, the platform will give the designer a commission of income, if a work is selected by the owner thousands of times, the designer will get thousands of times of income commission.

Aijia Life Investment has incubated China's first design copyright brokerage platform, Xishe Chuangxiang, and every year through the [Xishe Cup China Residential Design General Evaluation List] and targeted invitations to screen designers and solutions, and join the copyright transaction. At present, the monthly transaction order volume of the platform can reach the business volume of traditional designers for one year.
