"Growing Edge", as one of the few good-looking American youth films in recent years, tells the story of the heroine Nadine's sudden changes in high school and the inability to adapt to growing up. There are no stories of dog blood such as pregnancy and abortion, which are plain but deeply touching.

In the film, the Asian boy Elvin, who plays the heroine Nadine, is named Hayden Situ, and in the play, He plays Elvin, who has a wide range of interests, knowledge, family affluence, loves to draw, and really frightens Nadine when he invites Nadine to his home.
In fact, in real life, Hayden Situ is indeed from a real family of calligraphers and painters. Great-grandfather Situ Ming (号東皋) was a famous poet of the Qing Dynasty in the first year of Xuantong (1909 AD). Grandfather Situ Qi is a representative of the modern Lingnan School of painting and a famous master of Chinese painting. His father, Situ Naizhong, and his fourth uncle, Situ Huangzhi, were also quite accomplished in the field of calligraphy and painting.

Born in Canada in 1985, Heiden Situ Chinese graduated with honors in May 2011 after attending film acting at the New York Film Academy (nyfa). After graduation, he was selected by many companies to shoot large commercial films, such as the Coca-Cola Company, Microsoft Company, Nike Company and Wal-Mart Company in the United States. He is fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin, and is good at sports such as basketball, boxing, and Chinese kung fu wing chun. He was 31 years old when he starred as a high school student in "The Edge of Growth", but it did not affect his interpretation of this shy and cute teenager role!
With the need for American dramas and Hollywood films to open up the Asian market, Asian actors are increasingly appearing on the screen. There are Huayi brothers in the film side of "Edge of Growth", which may be part of the reason for choosing Hayden Situ to star in the first place! I hope this Chinese actor will get better and better in the future!
