The former site of the Fulaishan Branch of juxian County of the Communist Party of China is located in the school building of Dinglin Temple in Julaishan County, Rizhao City. This building is the place where Liu Xun studied the scriptures in that year, and is now opened as the exhibition hall of Liu Xun's life. The museum houses a statue of Liu Xun, displaying various editions of the Wenxin Carved Dragon and historical research documents. The rich collection of precious materials has made the domestic historians issue an admiration for "looking up to the ages"!
In April and May 1929, Xu Xiangnan, the head of the Yishui County Farmers' Association and a member of the Communist Party, went to the junction areas of Ju and Yinan Counties to publicize and educate the peasants, organized the peasants' associations, and developed Zhao Liangkun (Zhao Ziqiang), Bo Guanyi, Gao Molin, Zhang Shaojiu, Meng Jingzhi and others to join the Communist Party of China. One day in June, Xu Xiangnan, together with Gao Molin, Zhao Liangkun, Bo Guanyi, He Bozhen, Zhang Shaojiu, and others, came to the upper floor of the Fulaishan School. After everyone sat down, Xu Xiangnan announced the meeting. He said: "The party members' meeting held tonight has only one task, that is, to establish the Fulaishan party branch. In the future, the development of the party organization in Juxian County will rely on the strength of these backbones. Our task is arduous and the struggle is brutal and complex, but the revolution will ultimately triumph. The meeting democratically elected Zhao Liangkun, Xu Xiangnan, Bo Guanyi, Gao Molin, and Zhang Shaojiu to form the Cpc Juxian Fulaishan Branch, Zhao Liangkun was elected as the secretary of the branch, Bo Guanyi was responsible for propaganda, and others were in charge of party affairs and democracy movement work. The first branch meeting was then held. In accordance with the situation and tasks of the struggle in Juxian County at that time, the meeting decided: To recruit Party members among the advanced elements with consciousness and to expand the Party organization; to expose Chiang Kai-shek's crimes of betraying the revolution among the masses of the people; to win an armed uprising and build up revolutionary forces by the progressive forces of the Kuomintang army stationed in Juxian County; to gradually resume the work of the peasant movement, mobilize the masses, and carry out revolutionary activities.
After the establishment of the Fulaishan Party Branch, each branch member complied with the branch resolution, focused their work on the peasant movement, carried out propaganda and mobilization in peasant associations at all levels, and mobilized the peasants to fight against local tycoons, divide up the land, and oppose the exploitation of landlords.
After a period of arduous and meticulous work, a fierce fire of struggle was ignited in the ancient land of Juxian County. Zhao Liangkun led the students and peasants in his hometown, beating drums, blowing trumpets, and shouting slogans such as "Down with imperialism, down with warlords, down with local tycoons and inferior gentry, and practicing that cultivators have their own land, and demonstrating. He led the members of the peasant association to destroy the idols of the gods, move mud tires, run schools, force landlords to reduce rents and interest rates, and borrow grain from the outside world. Gao Molin, on the other hand, took advantage of his public identity as running peasant associations and running education to actively carry out party activities at the foot of The Floating Mountain. Organize the "Poor People's Association" to mobilize members to resist the oppression and exploitation of the landlords. The victory of one struggle after another greatly encouraged the members of the peasant associations in Xingjiazhuang, Lime Kiln, Zhuang yan and other villages under the Fulai Mountain, and under the leadership of the Fulaishan Party organization, they formed a mighty contingent and demonstrated everywhere to resist the exploitation of the landlords and propagate revolutionary ideas.
Under the active mobilization and leadership of the Fulaishan Party Branch, the rural mass movement in Juxian County has been vigorously carried out, most villages have established peasant association organizations, students have also organized, and the mood of struggle has never been higher.
The rapid development of the peasant movement has touched the fundamental interests of the landlords and gentry, corrupt officials and corrupt officials, who slander and accuse the peasant movement of "great rebellion," "deviance," "excesses," and "obstruction of taxation." The Kuomintang authorities also suppressed the peasant movement and ordered the dissolution of peasant associations. Under these circumstances, the Fulaishan Party branch immediately held a meeting to sum up the work of the previous period and find out the reasons for the suppression of the peasant movement -- the Communist Party did not hold real power, and the knife was in the hands of the Kuomintang. Therefore, in order to win the victory of the revolution, it is necessary to first overthrow the Kuomintang regime. To this end, Xu Xiangnan contacted Wu Zhenshan and Yu Hualong, commanders of the Kuomintang Fifth Guerrilla Zone, in Juxian County, and went deep into them to carry out soldier work. At the same time, he also went to Yishui Mountain to contact a guerrilla group to prepare for a riot in Jucheng, but was accidentally detected by the reactionary government of the Kuomintang in Juxian County, 12 people were arrested, and Wu Zhenshan, Yu Hualong, Zhang Dounan, Guan Dounan, Dong Xiangfu, and Zhang Xin were tragically killed in the city. Zhao Liangkun was detained and later ran to the northeast; Bo Guanyi was censored and later escaped to practice medicine for a living; Gao Molin joined the guerrillas and was killed by the enemy after recuperating at home; after Xu Xiangnan was arrested and released, because he continued to organize peasant associations to carry out secret activities, he was later killed by the enemy... In this way, the Floating Mountain Party branch was destroyed by the enemy.
Although the Fulaishan Party branch did not exist for a long time, she awakened the people, ignited the flame of revolution, laid a solid foundation for the development and growth of the party organization in Juxian County in the future, and was a glorious page in the history of the Party of Juxian County.
The old site is well protected. Municipal and county television stations have come to shoot feature films on many occasions as physical teaching materials for party building work and patriotic education. In June 2008, the Party History Research Office of the Rizhao Municipal Party Committee of the Communist Party of China erected a landmark monument of "The Former Site of the Fulaishan Branch of Juxian County" on the old site.
